Stop the Israeli attack on Iran. Resist imperialist-Zionist provocations - CPB

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) issued a statement today, June 17, 2025, strongly protesting and condemning the continued missile attacks by the Israeli forces on Iran. In the statement, CPB President Eminent Freedom Fighter Md. Shah Alam and General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince said that this heinous attack by the Israeli forces on Iranian soil, completely unprovoked, is unprecedented in history. CPB demands an immediate stop to this attack. At the same time, CPB calls upon the common people of the world to resist imperialist-Zionist provocations in this conflict. In the statement, CPB leaders said that 220 people, including 70 women and children, have been killed during this attack by the Israeli forces in Iran until yesterday. On the other hand, 20 people have been killed in Israel in Iran's counterattack. As a result, a terrible war situation prevails throughout West Asia. In the meantime, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, a recognized criminal against humanity by the International Court, has publicly announced the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and US President Donald Trump has threatened the residents of Tehran on social media to leave Iran. This has exposed the real face and intention of the imperialist-Zionist axis in a naked way in this incident. As a result, a situation has been created for a more widespread and prolonged war to break out around this attack on Iran. Which will naturally have serious negative consequences on world trade and the global economy. As a result, the wider victims will be especially Asia, Africa and the working class of all over the world. The CPB leaders also said that with the support of the US imperialism, the nuclear-armed Israel has become a rogue state at present. For this reason, during this period, Israel has committed genocide in Palestine and killed 55,432 innocent civilians. The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed this information. Therefore, for the interest of world security, the United Nations must immediately take urgent and special initiatives to stop this war in the Middle East. By showing respect to the mandate of the people of the country, the current interim government of Bangladesh should formally send a letter to the governments of Israel and the US condemning and protesting their position in relation to the attack on Iran and publish it before the nation.
