Condemn the unacceptable statements of the EU High Representative Z.Borel against Cuba

The MEPs of the KKE condemn the unacceptable statements of the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Z. Borel against Cuba. In a crude intervention in its internal affairs, he makes threats and "wags his finger" at the Cuban government, raising concerns about the individual and political rights of the Cuban people, freedom of assembly, etc. 

It is well known that the Cuban government has made public a wealth of evidence documenting that the persons who led the counter-revolutionary actions last summer are directly linked and directed by mechanisms in the United States, with the aim of creating destabilizing conditions by orchestrating another coup attempt against the Cuban people.

Who's really talking? The EU and the governments of the savage repression, the ban on demonstrations, strikes, the savage repression against demonstrators, the ban on Communist Parties, the imprisonment of refugees and even unaccompanied refugee children, which is keeping track of and multiplying its reactionary surveillance mechanisms of demonstrators, trade unionists and other militants?

This stance of the EU has obvious geopolitical motives as it develops its own plans against Cuba and its people, attempting to take advantage of the long-standing, criminal US blockade of the island.

Confronting the imperialist plans that the EU and the USA are working against Cuba, the best response of the Greek people, of other peoples, is to strengthen solidarity with the Cuban people in order to prevent any subversive plan against them.

Condena las inaceptables declaraciones del Alto Representante de la UE, Z. Borel contra Cuba.

La Delegación del KKE en el Parlamento Europeo condena las inaceptables declaraciones del Alto Representante de la UE para la Política Exterior Z. Borel contra Cuba. En una intervención descarada en sus asuntos internos, lanza amenazas y levanta el dedo recriminatorio hacia el gobierno cubano, planteando preocupaciones sobre los derechos individuales y políticos del pueblo cubano, la libertad de reunión, etc.

Es bien sabido que el gobierno cubano ha dado a conocer un cúmulo de pruebas que documentan que las personas que dirigieron las acciones contrarrevolucionarias del pasado verano están directamente vinculadas y guiadas por mecanismos en Estados Unidos, con el objetivo de crear condiciones desestabilizadoras orquestando un más intento de golpe de Estado contra el pueblo cubano.

¿Quién habla realmente? La UE y los gobiernos de la represión salvaje, de la prohibición de las manifestaciones, de las huelgas, de la represión salvaje contra los manifestantes, de la prohibición de los PP.CC., del encarcelamiento de los refugiados e incluso de los niños refugiados no acompañados, que sigue y multiplica sus mecanismos de vigilancia reaccionaria de los manifestantes, sindicalistas y otros militantes?

La postura de la UE tiene evidentes motivos geopolíticos mientras desarrolla sus propios planes contra Cuba y su pueblo, intentando aprovecharse del prolongado y criminal bloqueo estadounidense a la isla.

Frente a los planes imperialistas que la UE y los EE.UU. están elaborando contra Cuba, la mejor respuesta del pueblo griego, de otros pueblos, es reforzar la solidaridad con el pueblo cubano para impedir cualquier plan subversivo contra él.
