The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued the following statement on December 04, 2018:
The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India condemns the violence in Bulandshahr district in Western U.P. on Monday in which two people were killed including a police inspector. The incident occurred due to rumor of cow slaughter. This exposes the tense communal situation in U.P. and hooliganism of so called cow vigilante.
Party demands that U.P. chief minister Yogi Adityanath must address the situation rather than going and communalizing the situation in other states.
