Statement to International Workers and Communist Parties on the 2^nd National Congress of the Communist Party of Kenya

Comrades, 

We proudly announce that the Communist Party of Kenya (CPK) will be convening its 2nd National Congress on the 17th and 18th of this month. This Congress, as the highest decision-making body of our Party, marks a critical moment in our collective struggle for national liberation and socialist transformation. As we move forward, we extend our hand in solidarity to all international workers’ movements, revolutionary forces, and Communist Parties across the globe. 

In the face of relentless state repression, corruption, and foreign-backed attempts to weaken our movement, the Communist Party of Kenya stands firm. Our recent rectification program has purged opportunist and revisionist elements, safeguarding the Party’s revolutionary integrity. We are strengthened by the growing resistance against imperialism, as shown by the success of our anti-IMF protests, where new cadres, sons, and daughters of the working class, have joined our ranks. 

The upcoming Congress will focus on advancing the National Democratic Revolution (NDR), with the understanding that the fight for Kenya’s true independence is inseparable from the broader struggle for socialism. Our theme, "Advancing the National Democratic Revolution for a Truly Independent Kenya," reflects this commitment. The Congress will also reaffirm our role as the vanguard of the working class, committed to uniting all progressive forces in Kenya and building a strong Pan-African socialist alliance to resist imperialist domination across the continent. 

As we prepare for this important gathering, we call upon all workers and Communist Parties around the world to share their solidarity messages with us in support of our Congress. Your messages of unity, strength, and internationalism will inspire and strengthen us as we continue our fight for a socialist Kenya and an Africa free from imperialist domination. Let us come together in the spirit of revolutionary solidarity to show that the working class, united across borders, is an unstoppable force. 

We acknowledge the international solidarity that has sustained us in our journey and reaffirm our support for all comrades fighting against exploitation, oppression, and neo-colonialism. Together, we will continue the march toward socialism, guided by the principles of Marxism-Leninism and inspired by the spirit of the global working-class movement.
