The Communist Party of Pakistan expresses profound apprehension and unequivocal condemnation regarding the ongoing egregious offenses in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. This encompasses the protests at 15 locations across the province, including Gwadar and Mastung, the obstruction of crucial arteries throughout the region, arrests, shootings, violent clashes, casualties, and the wounding of hundreds of civilians, including women and children, alongside the deprivation of vital resources such as food, water, and other necessities. The puppet rulers and state security agencies have effectively isolated Balochistan from the rest of Pakistan through their actions. The Communist Party of Pakistan vehemently denounces this despotic conduct of the state. The people of Balochistan are engaged in a struggle for their fundamental human and national rights, self-governance, control over provincial assets, the eradication of national and class-based oppression, equitable rights, and the recovery of missing individuals—entitlements that are constitutionally and democratically guaranteed to all citizens. Yet, under the pretext of securing Pakistan, repressive forces have deliberately incapacitated life throughout Balochistan, plunging millions of its residents, including women, into distressing circumstances.

The Communist Party demands that the government dismantle all roadblocks, fully restore internet services, release all detained citizens and women, ensure the provision of food and water to all residents, provide requisite medical care to the injured, and guarantee the comprehensive protection of all civilians. Those responsible for the shooting and violence against civilians and women must be held accountable with the utmost rigour, and the demands of the Baloch Yekjehti Committee should be addressed through dialogue with its leadership. The Communist Party of Pakistan extends its solidarity to the people of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and assures them that it will persist in its advocacy for fundamental democratic and national rights, social justice, equality, and economic prosperity for all national units and affiliated states within the Pakistani federation.
