Communist Party of Swaziland supports the people of Venezuela in their fight against imperialist aggression

The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) stands with the people of Venezuela and condemns the imposition of new economic sanctions by the government of the United States of America (USA) on the Venezuelan people. The latest aggressive act by the imperialist force is a continuation of attacks on the people of Venezuela especially after the USA’s failure to remove democratically-elected President Nicolás Maduro and impose an unelected person in his stead.

The CPS supports the right of the people of Venezuela to chart their own path as they see fit.

The strengthening of the economic blockade against the Venezuelan government will only deepen the suffering of the people in that country. The wider USA scheme is the control of Venezuelan natural resources, including control of the entire Latin American region.

The Communist Party of Swaziland will continue to participate in all solidarity efforts meant to expose the imperialist machinations of the USA in Venezuela and support the right of the Venezuelan people to self-determination.
