UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT KEEP QUIET!
After such a devastating earthquake, when all our citizens were mobilized to help the earthquake victims, we expected that the political power, which is in possession such enormous resources, and most importantly, the authority, would be part of the same mobilization. We were saying that we should be quiet for a while, but no, we will not be silent.
We will ask questions…
We understand that you cannot organize and plan because you have no sense of science and reason. But how did you lose your common sense so much so that you use the opportunities at your disposal according to the preferences of the voters? The transfer of state facilities to municipalities with AKP, the abandonment of many districts to their fate, cannot be explained by political calculations, it seems that the earthquake destroyed the last remnants of your conscience.
Didn’t you immediately notice the impact of the earthquake and the destruction it caused? Why were additional teams set out for search and rescue efforts 28 hours after the earthquake?
Why couldn’t you manage to send the health personnel to whom you had sent a message saying “We will take you to the region”, to the earthquake zone and yet pulled them all around Turkey?
Why didn’t you use the military units in the region and especially in Syria for rescue efforts? And why still is there not an attempt to make use of them? You mention security, and yet doesn’t it fit your concept of “security” to get tens of thousands of our citizens out of the rubble?
If clearing the snow-covered roads is so vital for the relief teams and construction equipment that will go to the region, why are some of the main routes still closed for hours?
Why was the fire in the containers in the port of Iskenderun not intervened? Don’t you realize how important that port is in the coming days? Isn’t it time to protect such a strategic port while inflating the huge budget you have allocated for your own security?
And why do you still keep lying? You are constantly talking about numbers, saying that so many crews, ambulances, helicopters and police are on the field. However, the actual number of our citizens who lost their lives increases as you linger.
As TKP, we are doing our best right now, helping whomever we can to reach under the rubble, and delivering and distributing the aid, which is delivered to our party with such trust, to the earthquake zone.
But tomorrow we will add new ones to these questions. Even though we all know the answer…
Naturally, the most important thing is solidarity and help right now. It’s worth everything, even for a single person to be pulled out of the rubble, for a single person rescued from the cold, warmed by a bowl of soup, brought back to life, and given a safe tent.
Hang on Turkey…
