The Egyptian Communist Party strongly condemns the brutal Zionist aggression against Iran, which is fully supported by the United States of America—politically, militarily, and in terms of intelligence—with the aim of destroying Iran’s nuclear program and assassinating a number of its scientists, military leaders, and Revolutionary Guard commanders.

This blatant aggression reaffirms the pursuit of American hegemony over the region, especially following the return of Donald Trump to the presidency. Its catastrophic consequences are already evident in his push to implement a plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause by displacing the people of Gaza and the West Bank, and in his attempts to crown the Zionist entity as the sole regional power in the Arab world.

What has occurred in this savage Zionist aggression inevitably targets all forces that stand in its way—chief among them is Egypt. This assault is fundamentally designed to serve the interests of global imperialist and Zionist powers, and is part of their desperate attempt to prevent the emergence of a new multipolar world order—an order that alone has the potential to save humanity from the ongoing dangers posed by the rise of the far right, led by Trump and his party, who are ready to destroy the world for the sake of their selfish and narrow interests.

The living forces, emerging blocs, and global movements for liberation and peace are capable of confronting and defeating this scheme, just as they once brought down bygone imperial systems. This criminal and barbaric Zionist aggression will not be an easy campaign for the Israeli occupation army. The battle will be prolonged, and the people of the Zionist entity will pay a heavy price for this arrogance, supremacy, and savagery.

All salutations to the state of Pakistan and to every free voice, and to every national, democratic, progressive, and internationalist force that supports the Iranian people and stands against the Zionist-American schemes aimed at igniting wars and dismantling nation-states in our region.

In this context, the Egyptian Communist Party extends its fraternal greetings and appreciation to the Tudeh Party of Iran for its principled positions in support of its people and homeland, and for its clear alignment with the struggle against the Zionist-imperialist project in the region.
