The Kuwaiti Progressive Movement salutes the martyrs of the resistance from the Koya in Southern Syria, who fought against the Zionist incursion 

While the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement condemns the continued incursion of the Zionist occupation forces into Syrian territory, the latest of which occurred yesterday morning in the town of Koya in the Daraa countryside, it honors the heroism of the town's residents in their resistance against the Zionist enemy. This resistance reflects the Syrian people's firm national and pan-Arab stance against the usurping, aggressive, settler-colonial Zionist entity, and their rejection of its occupation of the Golan Heights and its expansion to Mount Hermon and Quneitra, and its subsequent expansion into the rest of Syrian territory, all in the face of the complicity of the counter-revolutionary forces. The Kuwaiti Progressive Movement extends its highest tribute and appreciation to the martyrs of the Arab nation and the Syrian people from the town of Koya, who proudly and heroically rose to the status of martyrdom while resisting the invading Zionist forces with their personal weapons. Among the martyrs who fought were: Amin Salem Suleiman, Ayham Hayel Al-Hamdan, Ali Muhammad Al-Hunais, Louay Al-Aqla, Jawdat Ali Suleiman, and Muhammad Qasim Mohsen.

In conclusion, the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement calls upon the brave Syrian people and their national, progressive, and Islamic forces to consolidate their ranks and mobilize every effort to resist the usurping Zionist occupation.

الحركة التقدمية الكويتية تحيي الشهداء المقاومين من أهالي بلدة كويا في سورية لمواجهة التوغل الصهيوني

في الوقت الذي تدين فيه الحركة التقدمية الكويتية تمادي قوات الاحتلال الصهيوني في التوغل داخل الأراضي السورية وآخر حلقاته ما تعرضت له بلدة كويا في ريف درعا صباح أمس، فإنها تحيي بطولة أهالي البلدة في تصديهم المقاوم للعدو الصهيوني، الذي يعبّر عن الموقف الوطني والقومي الصلب للشعب السوري تجاه الكيان الصهيوني الاستيطاني العدواني الغاصب ورفضه احتلاله الجولان وتمدده إلى جبل الشيخ والقنيطرة ثم تمدده في بقية الآراضي السورية في ظل تواطؤ سلطة قوى الثورة المضادة.

وتتوجّه الحركة التقدمية الكويتية بتحية الإكبار والتقدير لشهداء الأمة العربية والشعب السوري من أهالي بلدة كويا الذين ارتقوا بفخر وبطولة مقام الشهادة أثناء مقاومتهم بأسلحتهم الفردية للقوات الصهيونية المعتدية، حيث عُرِف من بينهم الشهداء المشتبكون: أمين سالم سليمان، أيهم هايل الحمدان، علي محمد الحنيص، لؤي العقلة، جودت علي سليمان، ومحمد قاسم محسن.

وفي الختام تهيب الحركة التقدمية الكويتية بالشعب السوري الأبي وقواه الوطنية والتقدمية والإسلامية لرصّ الصفوف وحشد الجهود لمقاومة الاحتلال الصهيوني الغاصب.
