To the Parties and Movements Communists and Workers of the world: 

With deep internationalist fervor, we inform that this June 12 and 13 we will be holding the 9th Congress of the Paraguayan Communist Party, under the slogan "Broad and deep unity for socialism."

The current context of structural crisis of capital, deepened by the COVID-19 pandemic, whose main axis of accumulation continues to be the financial one with growing prominence of illegal and drug-dealing capital with the only purpose of imperial barbarism, forces the people's revolutionary organizations to the necessary debate for the strengthening of the Party.

The diversity of struggles that take place in the world and in our continent and country - subjected to a conservative offensive, an exponent of the savagery of the imperial lackeys of each of our nations - requires a centrality that strategically understands the importance of reforms in a revolutionary key, towards socialism. We need to deepen the participation and conscious organization in the workplace, in the neighborhoods and communities, in the places of study and in the diverse sectoral expressions of the working class of the countryside and the city. For this, a profound review of our practice is necessary to overcome the inconsistencies and antagonisms between speech and action, between union autonomies and the political-social unit for the power dispute.

Paraguay is controlled by an oligarchic state with an economic and social project of looting and terrorism. Therefore, a deep debate is necessary within our Party and the people's organizations, for the purpose of an ideological and organizational rethinking to expand our struggle and our program of changes, for the democratic, agrarian and anti-imperialist revolution towards socialism.

For all this, is important to strengthen our party for an effective insertion in the mass movement and for the decisive advance of the revolutionary project. That is why the Paraguayan communists are engaged in this congressional process, marked by the political struggles of the working people of our country.

Understanding the epidemiological context and the proximity of the congressional debates, we invite the fraternal organizations of the world to send greetings and contributions to share them with our militancy.

A los Partidos y Movimientos Comunistas y Obreros del mundo:

Con profundo fervor internacionalista, informamos que este 11, 12 y 13 de junio estaremos llevando el 9° Congreso del Partido Comunista Paraguayo, bajo el lema “Unidad amplia y profunda por el socialismo”.

El actual contexto de crisis estructural del capital, profundizada por la pandemia de la COVID-19, cuyo principal eje de acumulación sigue siendo el financiero con creciente protagonismo del capital ilegal y narcomafioso y que sólo propone barbarie imperial, obliga a las organizaciones revolucionarias del pueblo al necesario debate para el fortalecimiento del Partido.

La diversidad de luchas que se dan en el mundo y, sobre todo, en nuestro continente y país -sometidos a una ofensiva conservadora, exponente del salvajismo de los lacayos imperiales de cada una de nuestras naciones- requiere de una centralidad que comprenda estratégicamente la importancia de las reformas en clave revolucionaria, hacia el socialismo. Necesitamos profundizar la participación y organización conscientes en los lugares de trabajo, en los barrios y comunidades, en los lugares de estudio y en las diversas expresiones sectoriales de la clase trabajadora del campo y de la ciudad. Para ello, es necesaria una profunda revisión de nuestra práctica para superar las incoherencias y los antagonismos entre el discurso y la acción, entre las autonomías gremiales y la unidad político-social para la disputa del poder.

Paraguay está controlado por un estado oligárquico con un proyecto económico y social de saqueo y terrorismo. Por lo cual, se hace necesario un profundo debate al seno de nuestro Partido y las organizaciones del pueblo, a los efectos de un replanteo ideológico y organizativo para ampliar nuestra lucha y nuestro programa de cambios, por la revolución democrática, agraria y antiimperialista hacia el socialismo.

Por todo esto, es importante el fortalecimiento partidario para una efectiva inserción en el movimiento de masas y para el avance determinante del proyecto revolucionario. Es por ello que las y los comunistas paraguayos nos abocamos a este proceso congresal, marcado por las luchas políticas del pueblo trabajador de nuestro país.

Entendiendo el contexto epidemiológico y la proximidad de los debates congresales, invitamos a las fraternas organizaciones del mundo a enviar saludos y aportes para compartirlos con nuestra militancia.
