Sin lugar a dudas, la revolución socialista en el Paraguay estará liderada por la juventud trabajadora, con su fuerza y convicción para cambiar todo lo que deba ser cambiado. Con su sensibilidad y creatividad para estimular y potenciar la participación de las mayorías trabajadoras, los sectores profesionales, intelectuales, artistas, así como de pueblos indígenas, de la niñez, de la adultez mayor, en la construcción de un proyecto político y social basado en nuestra cultura y en nuestra historia, a la vez con el contenido internacional  y las exigencias de este tiempo, que supere el modo de producción capitalista e inaugure formas de libre asociación entre seres humanos para producir lo que se necesite para superar esta crisis, para desarrollar las capacidades e intereses de todas y todos, y formular nuevas referencias que aplasten esa doble moral que tanta inseguridad y desconfianza nos sigue generando.

Sabemos que debemos trabajar mucho para que la juventud trabajadora se convenza de la necesidad y posibilidad de organizar la revolución y derrocar a las patronales de sus posiciones de poder.

La ausencia de oportunidades para estudiar y trabajar, la ausencia de políticas culturales y de estímulo para el arte y las ciencias, la súper explotación  perpetrada por las patronales, con las que el capitalismo somete en Paraguay a la población juvenil, son duros golpes que aplacan sus potencialidades. Las y los jóvenes reciben en promedio salarios inferiores al mínimo y son víctimas de la subocupación cuando no del desempleo y la expulsión de sus hogares, tanto del campo a la ciudad como del país hacia el exterior. De cada 10 jóvenes, 7 no tienen acceso a sistemas de jubilación ni seguro médico, además de ser cada vez más quienes se ven obligados a dejar de estudiar para trabajar y poder subsistir.

Y en ese marco, las mujeres jóvenes sufren una situación aún más terrible, con mayor explotación, menor ingreso, mayor desempleo, sometidas en los propios hogares por hábitos machistas, como parte del engranaje de un sistema que las trata como propiedad del patrón, que promueve la cosificación de los cuerpos, el adormecimiento de las mentes, que prioriza el dinero sobre la vida, que propone competencia salvaje, individualismo, consumismo superficial y una total irresponsabilidad a la hora de detener la entrega y la represión de los gobiernos de turno. A esto nos enfrentamos.

Las personas que estén vinculadas a procesos de trabajo colectivo y organizado, saben que así de devastadora como es esta realidad, así de arrolladora es la capacidad de superación que resulta de la suma de esfuerzos y talentos, catapultados por esa dignidad de quienes se disponen a lograr mejores condiciones de vida que alcancen a la patria entera.

Y para avanzar cada paso en esta batalla necesitamos a la juventud. Ese impetuoso compromiso que demuestra cuando se opone a la injusticia es fundamental, por ejemplo, para hacer frente a la propuesta del Presupuesto General de la Nación (PGN) para el 2021, que constituye una nueva ofensiva sobre la clase trabajadora, buscando eliminar las conquistas de derechos laborales, sobre todo en el funcionariado público, pero también sobre la clase trabajadora que es explotada en el sector privado.

Un primer paso es conocer a fondo el contenido del PGN 2021. Sabemos que de este gobierno no saldrá un presupuesto que cubra las necesidades de las mayorías en cuanto a salud, educación, vivienda, tierra, trabajo y jubilación, y menos con este ordenamiento de impuestos, pero es necesario analizar las dimensiones de la propuesta en nuestros espacios, exponer esta situación con decidido entusiasmo y combatividad, en todos los lugares de trabajo, de vivienda y de estudio, agitando para una amplia articulación que recupere la confianza de la mayoría trabajadora en su fuerza propia, con el impulso de esa energía que solo la juventud trabajadora es capaz de desplegar.

Hace décadas atrás, el escritor francés Paul Vaillant-Couturier había dicho que el comunismo es la juventud del mundo. Y en estos tiempos de tanta crisis, tanta angustia, tanta inseguridad, reivindicar al comunismo como la más noble, bella y joven de todas las causas de la humanidad, constituye una valiente posición que se irá extendiendo en la clase trabajadora, en la medida en que sigamos educándonos con el ejemplo de la práctica revolucionaria, responsable, seria y alegre que esa nueva sociedad viene gestando en cada lucha justa y organizada.

Youth and communism

Without any doubt, the socialist revolution in Paraguay will be leaded by the working youth, with their strength and conviction to change everything that must be changed. With its sensitivity and creativity to stimulate and enhance in the construction of a political and social project based on our culture and in our history , with the participation of the working majority, professional sectors, intellectuals, artists, as well as indigenous peoples, children, and older adults. At the same time with the international content and the demands of our times, to overcome the capitalist mode of production,creating forms of free association between human beings to produce what is needed to overcome this crisis, to develop the capacities and interests of all and for all, and formulate new references that crush that double standard that continues to generate so much insecurity and distrust in us.

We know that we must work hard so thatthe working youth convince itselfabout the need and possibility of organizing the revolution and overthrowing the bosses from their position of power.

The lack of opportunities to study and work, the absence of cultural policies and incentives for art and science, the super exploitation perpetrated by the bosses, with which capitalism subjects the youth population in Paraguay, are hard blows that placate its potentialities. Young people receive salaries that are much below the minimum and are victims of underemployment if not unemployment and expulsion from their homes, both from the countryside to the city and from the country abroad. Of every 10 young people, 7 do not have access to retirement systems or health insurance, in addition to being more and more those who are forced to stop studying to work and be able to survive.

In this context, young women suffer an even more terrible situation, with greater exploitation, lower income, higher unemployment, subjected to machismo in their own homes, as part of the machinery of a system that treats them as the property of the boss. The promotion of the objectification of bodies, the numbing of minds, that prioritizes money over life, proposing savage competition, individualism, superficial consumerism and total irresponsibility when it comes to stopping the surrender and repression of the governments of the day. This is what we face.

People who are linked to collective and organized work processes,know thatas devastating this reality is, so overwhelming is the ability to overcomeit that results from the sum of efforts and talents, catapulted by the dignity of those who are willing to achieve better living conditions that reach the entire country.

And to advance every step in this battle we need the youth. That impetuous commitment that they show when opposing injustice is fundamental, for example, to face the proposal of the General Budget of the Nation (PGN) for 2021. This constitutes a new offensive against the working class, seeking to eliminate the conquests on labor rights, especially in the civil service, but also on the working class exploited in the private sector.

A first step is to know in depth the content of the PGN 2021. We know that this government will not produce a budget to cover the needs of the majority in terms of health, education, housing, land, work and retirement, and less with this regulation of taxes. It is necessary to analyze the dimensions of the proposal in our spaces, expose this situation with determined enthusiasm and combativeness, in all workplaces, homes and studies, agitating for a broad articulation that regains the trust of the working majority in his own strength, with the impulse of that energy that only the working youth is capable of displaying.

Decades ago, the French writer Paul Vaillant-Couturier had said that communism is the youth of the world. And in these times of so much crisis, so much anguish, so much insecurity, vindicating communism as the noblest, mostbeautiful and young of all the causes of humanity, constitutes a courageous position.That will spread among the working class, as far as we may continue to educate ourselves with the revolutionary example, responsible, serious and joyful practice that this new society has been developing in every just and organized struggle.
