Mobilization and Organization to Defeat External Conspiracies
Dangers are mounting, and tensions are deepening on both global and regional fronts as conflicts intensify among the poles of the capitalist camp over interests and spheres of influence. Within this context, the national liberation movement and its forces stand in a state of vigilance, working to consolidate their ranks to confront imperialist aggression and the schemes of its regional and local proxies.
In this climate, client regimes in the region are actively repositioning themselves to safeguard their interests and mitigate the risks they face. They are also fostering mutual trust to strengthen their influence. Within this framework, the Turkish regime has emerged as a prominent player on the regional stage in the Middle East, seeking to position itself as a mediator in the region’s crises. Following its success in orchestrating conspiracies against Syria, the Turkish regime - rooted in Ottoman ambitions - is now advancing its role as a mediator in the Sudanese crisis.
Leveraging its ties with Arab regimes such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, a Turkish delegation visited the de facto government in Port Sudan with an initiative aimed at de-escalating tensions between the UAE and Port Sudan authorities. The delegation also sought to revive negotiations between the warring parties through platforms like Jeddah or Geneva.
The Central Committee’s initiative unequivocally highlighted the failure of international and regional efforts to halt the war, now nearing its second anniversary. These initiatives have not only fallen short of ending the conflict but have also proven incapable of mitigating its devastating consequences for the people and the nation. The Central Committee attributed this failure to the tendency of each initiative to prioritize the interests of its sponsors over genuine solutions, with each party striving to expand its influence in Sudan and monopolize the country’s resources.
The Central Committee stressed in its initiative that the only path to ending the war and addressing its repercussions lies in prioritizing self-reliance, with external support serving as a complementary rather than central role. Accordingly, the primary responsibility is to mobilize, organize, and unify the forces of the Sudanese revolution, both at home and abroad, while steadfastly drawing inspiration from the nation’s rich legacy of peaceful struggle.
This collective struggle represents the only path to overcoming external conspiracies and reclaiming our people’s pursuit of the December Revolution’s goals: liberation from dependency, stagnation, poverty, and internal conflict.
