The Central Committee of the Tudeh Party of Iran Strongly Condemns the Military Attack by US Imperialism on Iran

Dear compatriots!

In the first hour of Sunday 22 June 2025, based on the published reports and information available, United Statesmilitary aircraft and a naval vessel bombarded three nuclear sites in Iran at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, thereby overtly and officially joiningNetanyahu's rogue regime in the war of criminal aggression against Iran.

Donald Trump, the US President, bragged that these attacks were a complete success and threatened that if Iran does not make "peace" with Israel, the attacks against our country will continue at an even greater intensity. Trump wrote on his social network: "Any retaliatory action by Iran against the United States of America will be met with a force much greater than what we witnessed tonight."

This criminal attack by the Trump administration, like the attacks by the Israeli governmentthroughout the week beforehand, constitutes brazen military aggression against Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as a flagrant and gross violation of international law as set out in the United Nations Charter.These provisions explicitly prohibit the use of force, or its threat, against the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of any member stateof the UN General Assembly and mandates that member states settle their international disputes peacefully and refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of other nations.

Dear compatriots!

The Tudeh Party of Iran, throughout its illustrious history, has always been and will always remain a staunch defender of the territorial integrity of our homeland. Despite our vehement opposition to the Islamic Republic regime, we are categorically and implacably opposed to any aggressive action to wreak havoc in Iran; fragment and partition the country; and impose forces such as monarchists, the Mojahedin, or indeed any unmandated current that does not arise from the will of the people and instead operates within the framework of the interests of foreign powers, such as the US.

The Tudeh Party of Iran calls upon all progressive and freedom-loving forces of the country to stand together in unity and coordinated action against the conspiracies of US-led imperialism and Netanyahu's criminal apartheid regime and not allow the fate of our homeland to be determined by such malign forces.

The Tudeh Party of Iran asks all progressive and freedom-loving forces of the world, including the internationalcommunist and workers movement, to raise their voices of protest in solidarity with the Iranian people against the criminal and repugnant warmongering designs of the Trump-Netanyahu alliance- and,through the mobilising of world public opinion, to confront the danger of another devastating war engulfing the Middle East region.
