According to media reports - this morning, Saturday 22 September - at least 25 people were killed and more than 50 wounded in an armed terrorist attack on a military parade of the armed forces of the I.R. of Iran in the city of Ahvaz, itself marking the 38^th anniversary of the start of Iran-Iraq war. A number of the dead and wounded were civilians and ordinary spectators. The Tudeh Party of Iran condemns this terrorist act in the strongest terms.

According to the media reports, the “Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz” (Habib Nebgan faction) - which is supported by Saudi Arabia and Bahrain - perpetrated this attack. Also, the criminal organisation ISIS (DAESH) released a statement on its website “Al-A’amaagh” and claimed that its infiltrated covert forces, infiltrated to the province of Khuzestan, took part in this terrorist attack.

The Tudeh Party of Iran believes that criminal and terrorist operations such as the one executed this morning in Ahvaz, regardless of the claims and “justifications” of its organisers, and at a time when Israel and Saudi Arabia - as proxies of the racist and right-wing government of the United States - are trying to further stoke tensions in the region and around Iran and to instigate a new war, could seriously threaten the security of our country. Terrorist attacks in the already sensitive region of Khuzestan, in a situation where the popular movement of the ordinary and working people has been growing unprecedently in recent months and which has clearly exposed the social-political bankruptcy of the criminal theocratic ruling regime in Iran, could be cynically exploited by the police and security forces of the regime - even more than before - to intensify their crackdown and boost suppression in Khuzestan and increase the tensions so as to counter the popular movement and the bankruptcy of the regime.

Condemning terrorism in any shape and form manifestation, including today’s terrorist attack in Ahvaz, the Tudeh Party of Iran expresses its support for the rights-demanding movement of the working people of Khuzestan, and calls upon all the patriotic, democratic and progressive forces of the country to join forces in their efforts and resolve to organise a united and consolidated struggle in support and defence of the demands of our nation for peace, freedom, democratic rights, sovereignty and social justice.

The Central Committee of the Tudeh Party of Iran

حزب تودهٔ ایران، حملهٔ تروریستی به مراسم رژهٔ نیروهای نظامی در اهواز را محکوم می‌کند!

به‌گزارش رسانه‌های خبری، صبح امروز، شنبه ۳۱ شهریورماه، در حملهٔ مسلحانهٔ تروریستی‌ای به مراسم برگزاری رژهٔ نیروهای مسلح جمهوری‌اسلامی که به‌مناسبت سی‌وهشتمین سالروز جنگ ایران وعراق در اهواز، حداقل ۲۵ نفر کشته و بیش از ۵۰ نفر زخمی شده‌اند. تعدادی از کشته شدگان و زخمی‌ها از مردم عادی و غیرنظامی بوده‌اند که در مسیر رژه به نظارهٔ مراسم رژه مشغول بوده‌اند. حزب تودهٔ ایران این حرکت تروریستی را به‌شدت محکوم می‌کند.

بر اساس گزارش‌های منتشر شده، "جنبش عربی مبارزه برای آزادی الاحواز" (شاخه حبیب نبگان)،  که از سوی کشورهای عربستان سعودی و بحرین حمایت می‌شود در این حرکت  دست داشته‌ است. از سوی دیگر، سازمان جنایتکار داعش نیز با انتشار اطلاعیه‌ای در پایگاه اینترنتی خود به‌نام "الاعماق" مدعی شد که نیروهای نفوذی‌اش در خوزستان در این حمله تروریستی شرکت داشته است.

حزب تودهٔ ایران بر این باور است که، عملیات تروریستی و جنایتکارانه‌ای از قبیل آنچه امروز صبح در اهواز انجام شد- صرف‌نظر از ادعاها و توجیه‌های سازمان‌دهندگانش- در اوضاع‌واحوالی که عربستان و اسرائیل به‌نیابت از سوی دولت نژادپرست و دست‌راستی آمریکا و به‌منظور ایجاد جوی متشنج در منطقه در ارتباط با ایران و شروع جنگی تازه تلاش می‌کنند، می‌تواند تهدیدهای جدی‌ای را متوجه امنیت میهن‌مان کند. عملیات تروریستی در منطقهٔ حساس خوزستان و در وضعیتی که جنبش مطالباتی مردم و زحمتکشان میهن‌مان در ماه‌های اخیر به‌طور بی‌سابقه‌ای درحال گسترش و تعمیق است و ورشکستگی سیاسی- اجتماعی رژیم جنایتکار ولایی حاکم بر کشور را به‌شکلی روشن آشکار کرده است، برای جبران این ورشکستگی و در رویارویی با جنبش مطالباتی از طریق گسترش اختناق در خوزستان و شدت بخشیدن به فضای تشنج‌آمیز همراه با خشونت در سراسر کشور می‌تواند دست نیروهای امنیتی رژیم را بیش‌ازپیش باز کند.

حزب تودهٔ ایران، ضمن محکوم کردن تروریسم در تمامی اشکال تجلی آن و حرکت تروریستی امروز در اهواز و اعلام حمایت از جنبش حق‌طلبانهٔ مردم زحمتکش خوزستان، همهٔ نیروهای ملی، دموکراتیک و ترقی‌خواه کشور را فرامی‌خواند تا با تلاشی مشترک، مبارزه‌ای متحد و منسجم را در دفاع از خواست‌های مردم میهن‌مان برای صلح، آزادی و حقوق دموکراتیک، استقلال، و عدالت اجتماعی سازمان‌دهی کنند.
