Statement by the Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia on the stance of Croatia towards Palestine in occasion of the UN resolution: "A submissive decision by a wretched government of a wretched country"
The Socialist Workers' Party welcomes the UN resolution 67/19 that recognizes the Palestinian statehood.
The Croatian representatives' decision not to support the UN General Assembly resolution, which recognizes barely the observer status to Palestine, is miserable and hypocritical. But this decision isn't suprising, it is a typical example of the vassal submission towards Croatia's masters. Croatia had no valid argument for such a decision, if we exclude the fear to what would our masters have said. Indeed Croatia had several reasons to support this necessary resolution, both due to the recent events connected to the itself, and due to Croatia's fame that dates back to the era when it was part of the Non-Aligned Movement.
All the squalor of the Croatian non-sovereignty in taking important decisions manifests itself best through the clumsily-worded explanation text featuring the fragmented positions of the EU countries to which Croatia is not yet a member and to which it tries to justify its vacillations. But the climax of irony lays in Croatia's story of supporting the principle of the two-state solution, while not recognizing neither the observer status to one of these. If we add that the day before the UN vote the Croatian government was visited by the Israeli ambassador, we have completed the picture.
It's important however to remark that this time, with this humiliating decision, Croatia didn't help its masters: they have remained minoritary, which is good. Why does this decision come to us as no suprise? Simply due to Croatia's similar wretched and submissive decisions, with which in the past it supported its masters' aggressive and criminal endeavors in ousting regimes, in occupying and subjecting sovereign states like Libya, Afghanistan, and now Syria. And in all these events Croatia has persistently worked in favor of its very own harm. Nothing better comes out of the other wetched statelets in the former Yugoslavia.
Former Yugoslavia's wretched and vassal powers have too acted like Croatia. This comes as no surprise as well, but the absence of suprises does not mitigate the genuine resentment with such policies by sectors of our societies. The only exception in this case is the position of Serbia, which, even though it is subjected to concentric pressures and itself being lead by vassals that favour foreign interests, this time gathered strenght and kept its own face giving its vote to the right to life and to the existance of a six-decade long lacerated people.

Declaración del Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores de Croacia en la posición de Croacia hacia Palestina en ocasión de la resolución de la ONU: "Una decisión sumisa de un gobierno miserable de un país miserable"
El Partido Socialista del los Trabajadores celebra la resolución de la ONU 67/19 que reconoce el Estado palestino.
La decisión de los representantes de Croacia de no apoyar la resolución de la Asemblea General de la ONU, que reconoce apenas el estatuto de observador a Palestina, es miserable e hipócrita. Pero esta decisión no es sorprendente: es un ejemplo tipico de la sumisión vasalla de Croacia a su patronos. Croacia tenía ningún argumento válido para tal decisión, si se excluye el temor a lo que nuestros patronos habrían dicho. Hecho Croacia tenía varias razones para apoyar esta necesaria resolución, tanto debido a los recientes acontecimientos en Palestina, y debido a la fama de Croacia, que se remonta a la época en que era parte del Movimiento de Paises No Alineados.
Toda la sordidez de la no-soberanía croata en la toma de decisiones importantes se manifiesta mejor en sí a través del texto de explicación torpemente redactada sobre las posiciones fragmentadas de los países de la UE que Croacia aún no es miembro y al que trata de justificar sus vacilaciones. Pero el punto culminante de la ironía reside en el cuento de Croacia de apoyar el principio de la solución de dos estados, mientras que no reconoce ni el estatuto de observador a uno de ellos. Si añadimos que el día antes de la votación en la ONU el gobierno croato fue visitado por el embajador de Israel, hemos completado el cuadro.
Es importante sin embargo señalar que esta vez, con esta decisión humillante, Croacia no ayudó a sus patrones: ellos han permanecido minoritario, lo que es bueno. Por qué esta decisión viene a nosotros como ninguna sorpresa. Simplemente debido a similares miserables y sumisas decisiones de Croacia, con los que en el pasado apoyo los esfuerzos de sus patronos agresivos y criminales en derrocar regímenes, en ocupar y someter a estados soberanos como Libia, Afganistán, y ahora Siria. Y en todos estos eventos Croacia ha trabajado persistentemente en favor de su proprio daño. Nada mejor sale de los demás pequeños estados miserables de la ex Yugoslavia.
Los poderes miserables y vassallos en la ex Yugoslavia han también actuado como Croacia. Este no es ninguna sorpresa también, pero la ausencia de sorpresas no mitiga el resentimiento con esas politicas por sectores de neuestras sociedades. La unica excepción en este caso es la posición de Serbia, que, a pesar de que está sometida a presiones concéntricas y el ser mismo de plomo por los vasallos que favorecen a los intereses extranjeros, esta vez reunida la fuerza y mantuvo su propio rostro dando su voto al derecho a la vida y a la existencia de un seis década larga lacerado pueblo.
