Resolution submitted by the KKE to the 24th IMCWP

Communist and workers’ parties against imperialist wars:

The workers’-people’s struggle will grow stronger with an independent line, away from all bourgeois and imperialist plans. 

   With this Resolution, on the occasion of the 24th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties in Havana from 7 to 9 August 2026,  we express our solidarity with Cuba and its people, we honour the memory and historic contribution of Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz, leader of the Communist Party of Cuba and of the Cuban Revolution, on the centenary of his birth commemorated this year. We express our solidarity and stand by the sides of the peoples of Palestine, Lebanon and Iran, and with all peoples who face the barbarity of capitalism, class exploitation, anti-democratic bans and restrictions on trade union and political activity, and, in particular, imperialist interventions and wars.

 The war that has been waged for five years on the territory of Ukraine, shedding the blood of two peoples who have lived and thrived together for decades building the new socialist society and who, with their guns in their hands, fought and defeated fascism —that the capitalist system gives rise to—, is based on the overthrow of socialism and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. 

 It is a war waged in the framework of capitalism for raw materials, energy, transport routes for commodities, means of production, geopolitical footing, etc.

  It is a war waged by bourgeois classes, the bourgeoisie of Ukraine with the support of the US-NATO-EU on the one hand and the bourgeoisie of Russia, with the involvement of China etc. on the other.

 It is a war utilized by the bourgeois classes to distort history and to attack the communist and labour movement and repress it, both in Ukraine and Russia, as well as in other countries.

  It is an imperialist war, which may be generalized and lead other countries to bloodshed and the world to disaster due to nuclear weapons.

  Workers must not place their trust in a “multipolar world” that will supposedly stop this or any other imperialist war and lead to a peaceful world without the overthrow of the capitalist system.

   The communists struggle against the disorientation of the peoples and expose the pretexts used by both sides of the conflict to make the people choose sides.

          The real question today is not whether the US and EU monopolies, backed by NATO, or those of Russia and China will prevail. The real question is the choice between the peoples on the one hand and the monopolies on the other; between socialism and barbarity. The workers’-people’s struggle will grow stronger with an independent line, away from all bourgeois and imperialist plans. 

          We call for an escalation of the struggle against the imperialist war.

  We struggle against both old imperialist unions, such as NATO and the EU, whose decisions add fuel to the fire of war, and against new imperialist alliances that have emerged in recent years.

  We struggle against foreign military bases, first and foremost of the USA, which have flooded the world, as well as against the sending of troops and weapons and the involvement of our countries in the imperialist conflict.

  We reject the curtailment of social and labour rights in the name of war preparations and we oppose the increase in military spending and the rise of militarism.

          We support the struggle of the peoples against the monopolies, the bourgeois classes and the imperialist unions, for the overthrow of capitalism and the building of the new socialist-communist society, which will also mean the end of exploitation and wars.

 Резолюция, внесенная КПГ на 24-й Международной встрече коммунистических и рабочих партий (МΒΚΡΠ)

Коммунистические и рабочие партии против империалистических войн: Борьба трудового народа будет усиливаться по мере проведения самостоятельной, независимой линии, идущей вразрез со всеми буржуазными и империалистическими планами

 По случаю проведения 24-й Международной встречи коммунистических и рабочих партий в Гаване 7–9 августа 2026 года в настоящей резолюции мы выражаем нашу солидарность с Кубой и ее народом, чтим память и исторический вклад команданте Фиделя Кастро Рус - лидера Коммунистической партии Кубы и Кубинской революции, со дня рождения которого в этом году исполняется 100 лет.Мы стоим плечом к плечу и выражаем нашу солидарность с народами Палестины, Ливана и Ирана, со всеми народами, которые сталкиваются с варварством капитализма, классовой эксплуатацией, антидемократическими запретами, ограничениями профсоюзной и политической деятельности, и прежде всего с империалистическими интервенциями и войнами.

Истоки войны, идущей уже 5-й год на территории Украины, в которой проливают свою кровь два народа, на протяжении десятилетий жившие вместе и вершившие великие дела, строя новое социалистическое общество, сражавшиеся с оружием в руках и победившие фашизм, порождаемый капиталистической системой, лежат в реставрации капитализма и распаде Советского Союза.

Эта война ведется на почве капитализма за сырье, энергию, пути транспортировки товаров, средства производства, геополитические опоры и т.д.

Эту войну ведут буржуазные классы, с одной стороны, буржуазия Украины, которую поддерживают США-НАТО-ЕС, а с другой  - буржуазия России при участии Китая и др.

Эту войну буржуазия использует для фальсификации истории, для нападок на коммунистическое и рабочее движение, для его подавления как на Украине, так и в России, в других странах.

Это империалистическая война, она может перерасти в широкомасштабную войну и втянуть в кровопролитие другие страны, а применение ядерного оружия может привести человечество к глобальной катастрофе.

Трудящимся не стоит верить тому, что какой-то «многополярный мир» остановит эту и другие империалистические войны и приведет к миру во всем мире без свержения капиталистической системы.

Коммунисты противостоят дезориентации народов и разоблачают предлоги, используемые обеими сторонами конфликта для того, чтобы подтолкнуть их к выбору той или иной стороны!

Настоящая дилемма сегодня не в том, кто одержит верх: монополии США и ЕС, за которыми стоит НАТО, или монополии России и Китая. Настоящая дилемма: мы на стороне народа или на стороне монополий, социализм или варварство. Борьба трудового народа будет усиливаться по мере проведения самостоятельной, независимой линии, идущей вразрез с буржуазными и империалистическими планами.

Мы призываем к усилению борьбы против империалистической войны.

Мы боремся как против старых империалистических союзов, таких как НАТО, ЕС, решения которых подливают масла в огонь войны, так и против новых империалистических союзов, возникающих в последние годы.

Мы боремся против иностранных военных баз, прежде всего баз США, заполонивших весь мир, а также против отправки войск и оружия  и участия наших стран в империалистическом конфликте.

Мы выступаем против урезания социальных и трудовых прав народа под предлогом военных приготовлений, а также против роста военных расходов и усиления милитаризма.

Мы поддерживаем борьбу народов против монополий, буржуазии, империалистических союзов, за свержение капитализма и построение нового социалистического-коммунистического общества, что также будет означать конец эксплуатации и войнам.

Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь!

 Resolution, eingereicht von der KKE auf dem 24. IMCWP zur Unterzeichnung durch weitere kommunistische Parteien:

"Die kommunistischen und Arbeiterparteien gegen die imperialistischen Kriege: Der Kampf der Arbeiterklasse und der Volksschichten wird durch einen eigenständigen, unabhängigen Kurs gestärkt werden, fernab von allen bürgerlichen und imperialistischen Planungen.

 Anlässlich des 24. Internationalen Treffens der kommunistischen und Arbeiterparteien vom 7. bis 9. August 2026 in Havanna bringen wir mit dieser Resolution unsere Solidarität mit Kuba und seinem Volk zum Ausdruck und wir ehren das Andenken und die historische Leistung des Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz, der führenden Persönlichkeit der Kommunistischen Partei Kubas und der kubanischen Revolution, dessen 100. Geburtstag sich in diesem Jahr jährt. Wir bekunden unsere Solidarität und stehen an der Seite der Völker Palästinas, des Libanon und des Iran sowie aller Völker, die mit der Barbarei des Kapitalismus, mit Klassenausbeutung, undemokratischen Verboten und Einschränkungen gewerkschaftlicher und politischer Aktivitäten und insbesondere mit imperialistischen Interventionen und Kriegen konfrontiert sind.

 Der Krieg, der nun schon im fünften Jahr auf dem Gebiet der Ukraine tobt und zwei Völker in ein Blutbad stürzt hat seine Grundlage im Umsturz des Sozialismus und in der Auflösung der Sowjetunion. Die beiden Völker haben jahrzehntelang zusammen gelebt und Großes vollbracht, indem sie die neue sozialistische Gesellschaft aufbauten; mit der Waffe in der Hand haben sie den Faschismus bekämpft und besiegt, den das kapitalistische System hervorbringt.

 Es ist ein Krieg, der auf dem Boden des Kapitalismus geführt wird, um Rohstoffe, Energie, Transportwege für Waren, Produktionsmittel, geopolitische Stützpunkte usw.

 Es ist ein Krieg, der von den Bourgeoisien der Ukraine mit Unterstützung der USA, der NATO und der EU auf der einen Seite, und Russlands unter Einbeziehung Chinas u. a. auf der anderen geführt wird.

 Es ist ein Krieg, der von den Bourgeoisien genutzt wird, um die Geschichte zu verdrehen, um die kommunistische und Arbeiterbewegung anzugreifen und zu unterdrücken, sowohl in der Ukraine als auch in Russland und in anderen Ländern.

 Es ist ein imperialistischer Krieg, der sich ausweiten und auch andere Länder in ein Blutbad stürzen kann und aufgrund der Atomwaffen die Menschheit in eine weltweite Katastrophe führen könnte.

 Die Werktätigen können nicht darauf vertrauen, dass irgendeine „multipolare Welt“ diesen und andere imperialistische Kriege beenden und zu einer friedlichen Welt führen wird, ohne dass das kapitalistische System gestürzt wird.

 Die Kommunisten widersetzen sich der Desorientierung der Völker und entlarven die Vorwände, die beide Seiten des Konflikts nutzen, um die Menschen dazu zu drängen, sich auf die eine oder andere Seite zu stellen.

 Das wahre Dilemma besteht heute nicht darin, ob sich die auf der NATO stützenden Monopole der USA und der EU oder jene Russlands und Chinas durchsetzen werden. Das wahre Dilemma lautet: auf der Seite der Völker oder auf der Seite der Monopole, Sozialismus oder Barbarei? Der Kampf der Arbeiterklasse und des Volkes wird sich mit einem eigenständigen, unabhängigen Kurs im Konflikt mit den bürgerlichen und imperialistischen Planungenverstärken.

 Wir rufen zur Steigerung des Kampfes gegen den imperialistischen Krieg auf.

 Wir kämpfen sowohl gegen die alten imperialistischen Bündnisse wie die NATO und die EU, die mit ihren Beschlüssen „Öl ins Feuer“ des Krieges gießen, als auch gegen neue imperialistische Allianzen, die in den letzten Jahren entstanden sind.

 Wir kämpfen gegen ausländische Militärstützpunkte, vor allem der USA, die die Welt überzogen haben, sowie gegen die Entsendung von Truppen und Waffen und gegen die Beteiligung unserer Länder am imperialistischen Konflikt.

 Wir lehnen die Kürzung Sozial- und Arbeitsrechte zugunsten der Kriegsvorbereitungen ab und stellen uns gegen die Erhöhung der Militärausgaben sowie gegen den zunehmenden Militarismus.

 Wir unterstützen den Kampf der Völker gegen die Monopole, die Bourgeoisien und die imperialistischen Bündnisse, für den Sturz des Kapitalismus und den Aufbau einer neuen sozialistisch-kommunistischen Gesellschaft, die auch das Ende der Ausbeutung und der Kriege bedeuten wird.

 Proletarier aller Länder, vereinigt euch!"
