A conscripts’ committee has been formed at the Special Forces Training Centre: Greece must not be drawn into the war

In a letter calling for support, the Conscripts’ Committee at the Special Forces Training Centre states the following:

“Fellow conscripts,

Following the bombing of Iran by the US and Israel, the war is escalating dangerously, opening a Pandora’s box in the Middle East and across our wider region.

There is no room for indifference, complacency, or a wait-and-see approach.

The smoke of war has engulfed our neighbourhood; it has reached our borders. Our people are already in the eye of the storm.

The US bases in Souda, Alexandroupolis, Larissa, and elsewhere are turning our country into a military target.

For this reason, we demand the immediate closure of all foreign bases.

Our country must cease all participation in the war, in any form.

The use of airports, ports, military facilities, and equipment in support of the murderous plans of the US, NATO, and Israel, at the expense of other peoples, dramatically increases the risks facing our people and our country.

We demand:

- The return of the frigates, the F-16s, and the Patriot missile batteries, along with the officers and non-commissioned officers deployed abroad, and a complete end to all involvement in the war.

- No involvement of the Greek Armed Forces or their personnel, within or outside Greece, in the war alongside the US and NATO.

The war is already being exploited by monopolies and the capitalist system to increase their profits and engage in profiteering, further driving up prices and creating serious problems for the people —especially for those of us currently serving our military duty.

For these reasons, we, the soldiers serving in the Special Forces Training Centres, exercising our full rights,are forming a joint committee to address the problems caused by this destructive war, which has now become a matter of life and death for us and our families. We will establish similar committees in all prefectures and military camps. We consider this our duty and encourage conscript to do the same.

Furthermore, as a committee, we demand daily official updates from the command regarding developments in the war. We also demand the closure of foreign bases so that we are not turned into targets.

We call on every conscript who agrees with the proposals we put forward to support our efforts.

The establishment of a committee based on these demands requires the support of all conscripts.

Send us your suggestions and demands so we can raise them in discussions with the commanders.”

В Центре подготовки спецподразделений создан солдатский комитет: Никакого участия Греции в войне

В  своем письме с призывом поддержать его инициативу солдатский комитет Центра подготовки спецподразделений заявляет следующее:

«Товарищи солдаты,

После бомбардировок Ирана со стороны США и Израиля война опасно обостряется, открывая ящик Пандоры в регионе Ближнего Востока и непосредственно у наших границ.

Недопустимы ни безразличие, ни самоуспокоенность, ни выжидательная позиция.

Дым войны уже накрыл наш регион, дошёл  до наших границ. Наш народ уже находится в глазу циклона.

Американские базы  в Суде, Александруполисе, Ларисе и других местах  превращают нашу страну в военную цель.

Поэтому мы требуем немедленно закрыть все иностранные военные базы и прекратить любое участие нашей страны в войне.

Предоставление аэропортов, портов, военной инфраструктуры и вооружения для обслуживания преступных планов США, НАТО и Израиля, направленных против других народов, ставит под серьезный удар безопасность нашего народа и нашей страны.

Мы требуем:

Возвращения фрегатов, истребителей F-16 и комплекса Patriot, а также офицеров и сержантов, находящихся за пределами страны, и прекращения любого участия в войне.

Никакого вовлечения Вооружённых сил Греции и их личного состава — ни внутри страны, ни за её пределами — в войну на стороне США и НАТО.

Война уже используется монополиями и капиталистической системой для наращивания прибыли и спекуляции, ещё больше разгоняя рост цен и создавая серьёзные проблемы для народа, особенно для нас, проходящих военную службу.

Поэтому мы, солдаты, проходящие службу в Центре подготовки спецподразделений, реализуя своё право, создаём общий комитет, чтобы противостоять проблемам, которые порождает эта разрушительная война, уже ставшая вопросом выживания для нас и наших семей. Во всех регионах и воинских частях мы создаём аналогичные комитеты.

Мы считаем это своим долгом и обращаемся с этим призывом к каждому солдату.

Кроме того, как комитет мы требуем от командования ежедневного официального информирования о ходе войны. Требуем закрытия иностранных военных баз, чтобы не становиться мишенью.

Мы призываем каждого солдата, согласного с нашими предложениями, поддержать наши усилия.

Необходимо, чтобы все солдаты поддержали создание комитета и выдвигаемые нами требования.

Присылайте свои предложения и требования, чтобы мы могли выносить их на обсуждение с командованием и добиваться их выполнения.

Se ha constituido un Comité de soldados conscriptos en el Centro de Entrenamiento de Fuerzas Especiales: Ninguna participación de Grecia en la guerra

En una carta de llamamiento a apoyo, el Comité de soldados conscriptos en el Centro de Entrenamiento de Fuerzas Especiales (CEFE) afirma lo siguiente:

“Compañeros soldados:

Tras el bombardeo de Irán por parte de EE.UU. e Israel, la guerra se está intensificando peligrosamente, abriendo la caja de Pandora en la región de Oriente Medio y en nuestra zona.

No hay lugar para la indiferencia, la complacencia, la espera.

Las nubes de guerra se ciñen sobre nuestro vecindario, han llegado a nuestras fronteras. Nuestro pueblo ya se encuentra en el ojo del huracán.

Las bases estadounidenses, en Suda, en Alejandrópolis, en Larissa y en otros lugares, convierten a nuestro país en un objetivo bélico.

Por eso exigimos que se cierren ahora mismo todas las bases extranjeras.

Exigimos que nuestro país deje de participar de cualquier forma en la guerra.

Al ceder aeropuertos, puertos, instalaciones y equipamiento militares para servir a los planes asesinos de EE.UU., la OTAN e Israel, en detrimento de otros pueblos, se aumentan drásticamente los riesgos para nuestro pueblo y nuestro país.

Exigimos:

Que regresen las fragatas, los F-16 y los sistemas Patriot, junto con los oficiales y suboficiales que operan fuera de las fronteras, y que se ponga fin a toda participación en la guerra.

Ninguna implicación de las Fuerzas Armadas griegas y de su personal, dentro o fuera de Grecia, en la guerra, junto con EE.UU. y la OTAN.

Los monopolios y el sistema capitalista ya se están aprovechando de la guerra para aumentar sus beneficios y la especulación, disparando aún más los precios y creando graves problemas al pueblo y, en particular, a nosotros que cumplimos nuestro servicio militar.

Por estas razones, nosotros, los soldados conscriptos que prestamos servicio en el CEFE, tal y como nos corresponde por derecho, constituimos un comité conjunto para hacer frente a los problemas que genera esta guerra devastadora, que se ha convertido en una cuestión de vida o muerte para nosotros y nuestras familias. En todas las provincias y campamentos estamos formando comités similares. Lo consideramos nuestro deber y lo proponemos a todos los soldados.

Además, como comité, solicitamos información diaria y oficial por parte de los mandos militares sobre la evolución de la guerra. Pedimos que se cierren las bases extranjeras para que no seamos un blanco militar.

Hacemos un llamamiento a todos los soldados conscriptos que estén de acuerdo con las propuestas que expresamos para que refuercen nuestro esfuerzo.

Es necesario que todos los soldados apoyen la constitución del comité con las reivindicaciones que proponemos.

Enviad propuestas y reivindicaciones para que las exijamos en nuestras conversaciones con los mandos militares.”

شُكِّلت لجنة للمجندين في مركز تدريب القوات الخاصة: لا لأي تورطٍ لليونان في الحرب

أفادت رسالة - نداء للدعم، صاغتها لجنة المجندين في مركز تدريب القوات الخاصة بِما يلي:

«أيها الزملاء المجندون،

بعد قصف إيران من قبل الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل، تتصاعد الحرب بنحو خطير مما يفتح الباب أمام تطورات عاصفة في الشرق الأوسط ومنطقتنا.

ما من مكانٍ للامبالاة، ولا للإطمئنان، ولا للانتظار.

لقد غطى دخان الحرب جوارنا، و وصل إلى حدودنا. إن شعبنا متواجدٌ سلفاً في عين العاصفة.

إن القواعد الأمريكية المتواجدة في سوذا، وألكسندروبوليس، ولاريسا، وغيرها، تحول بلدنا إلى هدف حربي.

لذا نطالب بإغلاق جميع القواعد الأجنبية هنا والآن.

فلتتوقف بلدنا عن المشاركة بأي شكل من الأشكال في الحرب.

إن إتاحة المطارات والموانئ والمنشآت العسكرية والمعدات لخدمة المخططات الإجرامية للولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي وإسرائيل، على حساب شعوب أخرى، يزيد بنحو مأساوي من المخاطر التي يتعرض لها شعبنا و بلدنا.

إننا نطالب ﺑ:

عودة الفرقاطات وطائرات إف -16 وبطاريات باتريوت، بالإضافة إلى الضباط وضباط الصف العاملين خارج الحدود، ووقف جميع أشكال المشاركة في الحرب.

لا لأية مشاركة للقوات المسلحة اليونانية وأفرادها، داخل اليونان أو خارجها، في الحرب، إلى جانب الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي.

إن الحرب تُستغل سلفاً من قبل الاحتكارات والنظام الرأسمالي من أجل زيادة اﻷرباح، و من أجل التربُّح مع مفاقمة الغلاء بنحو أبعد و خلق مشاكل خطيرة للشعب، وخاصة لنا نحن المجندين الذين نؤدي خدمتنا العسكرية.

و لهذه الأسباب، نُشكِّل نحن المجندون الذين نخدمُ في مركز تدريب القوات الخاصة - كما نمتلكُ كل حقٍّ - لجنة مشتركة لمواجهة المشاكل الناجمة عن هذه الحرب المدمرة، التي أصبحت الآن مشكلة معيشة لنا ولعائلاتنا. إننا نشكل لجاناً مماثلة في جميع المحافظات والمعسكرات. و نشعر أن هذا واجبنا و نقترحه على كل مجنَّد.

إضافة إلى ذلك، نطالب رسمياً، كلجنة، بتلقي إحاطة إعلامية يومية من الإدارات حول تطورات الحرب. ونطالب بإغلاق القواعد العسكرية الأجنبية حتى لا نكون هدفاً.

و ندعو كل مجنَّد يوافق على مقترحاتنا إلى تعزيز محاولتنا.

هناك حاجة لإسناد اللجنة مع المطالب التي نطرحها من قبل جميع المجنَّدين.

أرسلوا مقترحاتكم ومطالبكم لكي نطالب بها عبر مناقشتها مع الإدارات».
