Justified discontent finds no real outlet  within the Democrat-Republican polarity

On 4 November, in his speech to Parliament, the GS of the CC of the  KKE, D. Koutsoumbas, referred to the results of the U.S. elections, noting the following:

“The U.S. midterm elections highlight the widespread dissatisfaction of millions of Americans, over the high cost of living, insufficient wages and broken promises. Trump promised to make America “great again”. And what is actually increasing? Bills, military spending, and the profits of monopolies! He promised to end the wars in a single day, yet workers' salaries are running out before the end of the month and the wars are continuing! However, this justified discontent finds no real outlet within the Democrat-Republican polarity. Because while the tenants of Congress may change, unfortunately those who hold the keys do not: the big monopoly groups, the big financial interests.”

Д. Куцумбас о результатах промежуточных выборов в США

Во время своего выступления в парламенте 4 ноября Генеральный секретарь ЦК КПГ Д. Куцумбас коснулся результатов американских выборов, отметив следующее:

«Промежуточные выборы в США отражают глубокое недовольство миллионов американцев дороговизной, мизерными зарплатами и невыполненными обещаниями. Трамп обещал «сделать Америку снова великой». И что же растёт в итоге? Счета, военные расходы и прибыли монополий! Он обещал закончить войны за один день, но трудящиеся видят, что их зарплата заканчивается раньше конца месяца, а войны продолжаются! Вот только это оправданное недовольство не находит реального выхода в рамках двухполюсной системы Демократов и Республиканцев. Потому что жильцы Конгресса могут меняться, но, к сожалению, не меняются те, кто держит ключи: крупные монополии и финансовые интересы».

El descontento justificado no encuentra una salida real 

al elegir entre los dos polos: los demócratas o los republicanos

El 4 de noviembre, en su intervención en el Parlamento, el Secretario General del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Grecia (KKE), D. Koutsoumpas, se refirió a los resultados de las elecciones estadounidenses y señaló lo siguiente:

«Las elecciones intermedias en EE.UU. ponen de manifiesto el gran descontento de millones de estadounidenses por el coste de la vida, los salarios insuficientes y las promesas incumplidas. Trump prometió hacer a EE.UU. grande de nuevo. ¿Y qué es lo que crece al final? ¡Las facturas, el gasto militar y los beneficios de los monopolios! Prometió acabar con las guerras en un solo día, pero los trabajadores ven cómo se les acaba el sueldo antes de que termine el mes y cómo las guerras continúan. Pero este descontento justificado no encuentra una salida real al elegir entre los dos polos: los demócratas o los republicanos. Porque puede que cambien los miembros del Congreso, pero, lamentablemente, no cambian quienes tienen las riendas: los grandes monopolios, los grandes intereses económicos».

لا يَجدُ السخط المبرر منفذاً فعلياً في القطبية الثنائية للديمقراطيين والجمهوريين

تطرَّق الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، ذيميتريس كوتسوباس، يوم 4\11 في خطابه أمام البرلمان، إلى نتائج الانتخابات الأمريكية، مسجِّلاً ما يلي:

« تُبرز الانتخابات النصفية في الولايات المتحدة السخط الكبير لدى ملايين الأمريكيين، تجاه الغلاء و عدم كفاية الرواتب و النكث بالوعود. حيث وعد ترامب بجعل أمريكا "عظيمة مرة أخرى". و ما الذي يتعاظم في نهاية المطاف؟ الفواتير، ونفقات الحرب، وأرباح الاحتكارات! لقد وعد بإنهاء الحروب في يوم واحد، لكن العمال يرون استنفاذ رواتبهم قبل نهاية الشهر و استمرار الحروب! إن هذا السخط المبرر لا يجد منفذاً فعلياً له في القطبية الثنائية للديمقراطيين والجمهوريين. لأن أعضاء الكونغرس قد يتغيرون، لكن للأسف، لا يتغير أولئك الذين يملكون زمام الأمور: الاحتكارات الكبرى، والمصالح الاقتصادية الكبرى».
