Seafarers’ strike: Bring everyone back safely from the war zone!

On 5 March, seafarers of all types of vessels went on a 24-hour strike following a decision by their unions. The central demand of the strike was that all necessary measures be taken immediately to ensure the safe repatriation of seafarers who are trapped in the war zone.

With anger boiling over, as hundreds of families anxiously await news of their loved ones who are caught up in the war, the strike marked an important moment in the struggle against the criminal policies of the government and shipowners. At present, there are 85 Greek seafarers and 325 ships in the northern Strait of Hormuz alone, while thousands more seafarers are outside the strait. At the same time, as bombs rain down on the region and supplies on the ships are running out, there is no information about what is happening, while the ministry has provided no data to enable communication.

In a statement, the GS of the CC of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, emphasized: “We support the strike of the seafarers who, together with their unions, are fighting to protect human life against the profits of shipowners. Hundreds of their colleagues are trapped in the Persian Gulf due to the responsibility of the government and shipowners, while the only actions taken by the Ministry of Shipping are limited to recommendations that shipowners take measures to ensure the safety of seafarers’ lives. But the shipowners have nothing to lose. Their ships are insured, while the seafarers are risking their lives.

Once again, the selectivity of the bourgeois state is evident: it can immediately send frigates and aircraft to serve NATO’s needs, yet refuses to plan and organize the repatriation of seafarers. The government must immediately ensure the return of all seafarers who are caught in the flames of war!”.

Забастовка моряков: Все должны вернуться живыми и невредимыми из пламени войны!

5 марта моряки на судах всех категорий  объявили 24-часовую забастовку по решению профсоюзов моряков. Главное требование забастовки — немедленное принятие всех мер по обеспечению безопасного возвращения моряков, оказавшихся в пламени войны. 

На фоне переполняющего людей гнева, когда сотни семей в эти часы тревожатся за своих близких, оказавшихся в огне войны, сегодняшняя забастовка становится важным этапом борьбы против преступной политики правительства и судовладельцев. На данный момент только к северу от Ормузского пролива находятся 85 греческих моряков и 325 судов, при этом за пределами пролива  остаются ещё тысячи моряков. И это в то время, когда регион подвергается массированным бомбардировкам, а запасы продовольствия на судах иссякают, нет даже элементарной информации о происходящем. При этом министерство не предоставляет данных, необходимых для установления связи. 

В своём заявлении Генсек ЦК КПГ Димитрис Куцумбас подчёркивает: 

«Мы поддерживаем забастовку моряков, которые вместе со своими профсоюзами ведут борьбу за то, чтобы человеческая жизнь была поставлена выше прибылей судовладельцев. Сотни их коллег оказались заблокированы в Персидском заливе по вине правительства и судовладельцев, а Министерство судоходства ограничивается лишь рекомендациями судовладельцам принять меры для обеспечения безопасности моряков. Однако судовладельцам нечего терять. Их суда застрахованы, а жизнь моряков поставлена под угрозу. В очередной раз проявляется избирательность буржуазного государства: оно может немедленно направлять фрегаты и самолёты для нужд НАТО, но отказывается разработать и начать операцию по репатриации моряков. Правительство должно немедленно обеспечить возвращение всех моряков из пламени войны!»

Huelga de marineros: ¡Que todos regresen sanos y salvos de las llamas de la guerra!

El 5 de marzo, los marineros de todas las categorías de buques se declararon en huelga de 24 horas por decisión de los sindicatos marítimos. La principal reivindicación de la huelga es que se tomen ya todas las medidas necesarias para la repatriación segura de los marineros que se enfrentan a las llamas de la guerra.

Con la ira desbordándose, ya que cientos de familias están angustiadas por sus seres queridos que se encuentran en medio del fuego de la guerra, la huelga de hoy se convierte en un hito contra la política criminal del gobierno y los armadores. En este momento, solo en el norte del estrecho de Ormuz hay 85 marineros griegos y 325 barcos, mientras que miles de marineros se encuentran fuera del estrecho. Al mismo tiempo, mientras las bombas caen como lluvia sobre la zona y los suministros de los barcos se agotan, no hay información sobre lo que está sucediendo y el ministerio no proporciona datos para poder comunicarse.

En una declaración, el Secretario General del CC del KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumpas, subraya: “Apoyamos la huelga de los marineros que, junto con sus sindicatos, luchan por proteger la vida humana frente a los beneficios de los armadores. Cientos de sus compañeros están atrapados en el Golfo Pérsico a causa del gobierno y de los armadores, y las únicas medidas que ha tomado el Ministerio de Marina se limitan a recomendar a los armadores que adopten medidas para garantizar la seguridad de los marineros. Pero los armadores no tienen nada que perder. Sus barcos están asegurados, mientras que los marineros se juegan la vida.

Una vez más se demuestra la selectividad del Estado burgués, que puede enviar inmediatamente fragatas y aviones para las necesidades de la OTAN, mientras se niega a planificar y poner en marcha la repatriación de los trabajadores marítimos. ¡El Gobierno debe garantizar ya el regreso de todos los marineros de las llamas de la guerra!”

Grève des travailleurs maritimes: qu'ils reviennent tous sains et saufs des flammes de la guerre!

Le 5 mars, les travailleurs maritimes de tous les types de navires ont fait grève pendant 24 heures, sur décision des syndicats maritimes. La revendication principale de la grève est que toutes les mesures nécessaires soient prises immédiatement pour assurer le rapatriement en toute sécurité des marins confrontés aux flammes de la guerre.

Alors que la colère monte chez les marins et leurs familles inquiètes pour leurs proches pris dans les flammes de la guerre, cette grève devient un jalon importantdans la lutte contre la politique criminelle du gouvernement et des armateurs. Actuellement, 85 marins grecs et 325 navires se trouvent au nord du détroit d'Ormuz, tandis que des milliers d'autres se trouvent en dehors. Alors que les bombes s'abattent sur la région et que les provisions à bord des navires s'épuisent, aucune information n'est disponible sur la situation et le ministère ne fournit aucune donnée permettant une communication.

Dans une déclaration, le Secrétaire Général du CC du KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, souligne: «Nous soutenons la grève des travailleurs maritimes qui, avec leurs syndicats, luttent pour protéger la vie humaine contre les profits des armateurs. Des centaines de leurs collègues sont bloqués dans le golfe Persique, sous la responsabilité du gouvernement et des armateurs, et les seules mesures prises par le ministère de la Marine marchande se limitent à recommander aux armateurs de prendre des mesures pour assurer la sécurité des marins. Mais les armateurs n'ont rien à perdre. Leurs navires sont couverts par une assurance, tandis que les marins jouent leur vie à pile ou face.

Une fois de plus, on constate la sélectivité de l'État bourgeois, qui peut immédiatement envoyer des frégates et des avions pour les besoins de l'OTAN, mais qui refuse de planifier et d'organiser le rapatriement des marins. Le gouvernement doit maintenant garantir le retour de tous les marins pris dans les flammes de la guerre!»

Sciopero dei lavoratori marittimi: che tutti tornino sani e salvi dalle fiamme della guerra!

Il 5 marzo i lavoratori marittimi di tutte le categorie di navi hanno indetto uno sciopero di 24 ore su decisione dei sindacati di categoria. La richiesta principale dello sciopero è che vengano prese subito tutte le misure necessarie per il rimpatrio sicuro dei lavoratori marittimi che stanno affrontando le fiamme della guerra.

Con tanta la rabbia, dato che centinaia di famiglie sono in questo momento in ansia per i propri cari che si trovano nel fuoco della guerra, lo sciopero di oggi diventa una tappa fondamentale nella lotta contro la politica criminale del governo e degli armatori. In questo momento, solo a nord dello Stretto di Hormuz si trovano 85 lavoratori marittimi greci e 325 navi, mentre migliaia di marittimi si trovano al di fuori dello stretto. Proprio mentre cadono le bombe sulla zona e le scorte sulle navi si esauriscono, non ci sono informazioni su ciò che sta accadendo e il ministero non fornisce dati per comunicare.

In una dichiarazione, il SG del CC del KKE Dimitris Koutsoubas sottolinea: «Sosteniamo lo sciopero dei lavoratori marittimi che, insieme ai loro sindacati, stanno combattendo per proteggere la vita umana dai profitti degli armatori. Centinaia di loro colleghi sono intrappolati nel Golfo Persico per colpa del governo e degli armatori, e le uniche iniziative del Ministero della Marina Mercantile si limitano a raccomandazioni agli armatori affinché adottino misure per la sicurezza della vita dei lavoratori marittimi. Ma gli armatori non hanno nulla da perdere. Le loro navi sono assicurate, mentre i lavoratori marittimi rischiano la vita.

Ancora una volta si dimostra la selettività dello Stato borghese, che può inviare immediatamente fregate e aerei per le esigenze della NATO, ma si rifiuta di pianificare e organizzare il rimpatrio dei lavoratori marittimi. Ora il governo deve garantire il ritorno di tutti i lavoratori marittimi dalle fiamme della guerra!».

إضراب البحارة: فليرجع جميعهم سالمين من نيران الحرب!

نفذ البحارة على جميع صنوف السفن إضراباً لمدة 24 ساعة يوم 5 آذار\مارس، بعد قرار اتخذته نقاباتهم. هذا و كان المطلب الرئيسي للإضراب هو اتخاذ كافة التدابير اللازمة فوراً لضمان عودة البحارة الذين يواجهون نيران الحرب، إلى أوطانهم سالمين. و مع طوفان الغضب المتصاعد، وقلق مئات العائلات على أبنائها المتواجدين في نطاق نيران الحرب، شكَّل هذا إضراب محطة بارزة ضدّ السياسة الإجرامية التي تنتهجها الحكومة – و مالكو السفن. و في اللحظة الحالية فقط  يتواجد  85 بحار يوناني و325 سفينة شمال مضيق هرمز، بينما يتواجد آلاف البحارة خارج المضيق. وفي الوقت الذي تنهمرُ فيه القنابل على المنطقة، وتنفد المؤن على متن السفن، لا تتوفر أي معلومات بشأن ما يجري، ولا تُقدّم الوزارة أيّ معطيات للتواصل.

في تصريح له، أكد الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، ذيميتريس كوتسوباس على: «إننا ندعم إضراب البحارة  عبر نقاباتهم، حيث يخوضون المعركة لحماية الحياة البشرية في مواجهة أرباح أصحاب السفن. إن مئاتٌ من زملائهم هم عالقون في الخليج تحت مسؤولية الحكومة وأصحاب السفن، وتقتصر تحركات وزارة النقل البحري على توجيه توصيات لمالكي السفن باتخاذ تدابير لضمان سلامة البحارة. مع ذلك، لا يملك أصحاب السفن ما يخسرونه، فسفنهم مؤمّنة، بينما يُخاطر البحارة بحياتهم.

هذا و تتجلَّى و لمرة أخرى انتقائية الدولة البرجوازية، التي تُرسل على الفور فرقاطات وطائرات لتلبية حاجات الناتو، بينما ترفض التخطيط و اﻹعداد لعملية إعادة البحارة إلى وطنهم. يجب على الحكومة فوراً ضمان عودة جميع البحارة من نيران الحرب!».

Greva e detarëve: Të kthehen të gjithë të sigurt nga flakët e luftës!

Më 5/3, detarët e të gjitha kategorive të anijeve zbritën në një grevë 24-orëshe me vendim të sindikatave të tyre. Kërkesa kryesore e grevës është marrja e menjëhershme e të gjitha masave për riatdhesimin e sigurt të detarëve që ndodhen përballë flakëve të luftës.

Me zemërimin që vlon, pasi qindra familje po ankthohen në këto çaste për njerëzit e tyre që ndodhen në zjarrin e luftës, greva e sotme bëhet një stacion kyç kundër politikës kriminale të qeverisë dhe pronarëve të anijeve. Aktualisht, vetëm në veri të Ngushticës së Hormuzit ndodhen 85 detarë grekë dhe 325 anije, ndërkohë që mijëra detarë të tjerë ndodhen jashtë ngushticës. Në të njëjtën kohë kur bombat bien si shi në rajon dhe rezervat në anije po mbarojnë, nuk ka asnjë informacion mbi atë që po ndodh, ndërsa ministria nuk jep të dhëna për të mundësuar komunikimin.

Në deklaratën e tij, Sekretari i Përgjithshëm i KQ të Partisë Komuniste të Greqisë (KKE), Dhimitri Kucumbas, thekson:

«Mbështesim grevën e detarëve, të cilët përmes sindikatave të tyre po japin betejën për mbrojtjen e jetës njerëzore përballë fitimeve të pronarëve të anijeve.

Qindra kolegë të tyre janë të bllokuar në Gjirin Persik me përgjegjësi të qeverisë dhe të pronarëve të anijeve, ndërsa lëvizjet e vetme të Ministrisë Detare kufizohen në rekomandime drejtuar pronarëve të anijeve për të marrë masa për sigurinë e jetës së detarëve. Mirëpo pronarët e anijeve nuk kanë asgjë për të humbur. Anijet e tyre janë të siguruara në siguracione, ndërsa detarëve po u varret jeta nga një fije.

Për të shumtën herë vërtetohet natyra selektive e shtetit borgjez, i cili mund të dërgojë menjëherë fregata dhe avionë për nevojat e NATO-s, ndërsa refuzon të planifikojë dhe të zbatojë riatdhesimin e detarëve. Tani qeveria të garantojë kthimin e të gjithë detarëve nga flakët e luftës!».
