The KKE condemns the attack on the rally of the Communist Party of Turkey against the NATO summit in Ankara

In a statement regarding the attack on a rally organised by the Communist Party of Turkey to protest against the NATO summit in Ankara, the Press Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) points out:

“The KKE strongly condemns the police attack and general repression unleashed by the Turkish government against yesterday's rally organised by the Communist Party of Turkey in Ankara, which expressed opposition to the NATO Summit and its imperialist plans hostile to the peoples. 

We denounce the ban on rallies and all forms of protest imposed in the Turkish capital, which has been turned into a fortress to protect the NATO summit. 

The KKE expresses its unwavering solidarity with the Communist Party of Turkey and the protesters, and demands the immediate release of the 120 people arrested. 

Hands off the Turkish communists and the Communist Party of Turkey!”

КПГ осуждает нападение на демонстрацию Компартии Турции против саммита НАТО в Анкаре.

В заявлении Пресс-бюро ЦК КПГ по поводу нападения на демонстрацию Компартии Турции против саммита НАТО в Анкаре отмечается:

«КПГ решительно осуждает полицейское нападение и в целом репрессии, приведшие к ранениям и арестам демонстрантов, которые были осуществлены турецким правительством против вчерашней демонстрации, организованной Коммунистической партией Турции в Анкаре, чтобы выразить своё несогласие с саммитом НАТО и его империалистическими планами, направленными против народов.

Мы осуждаем запрет на демонстрации и любые виды протестов, введённый в столице Турции, которая была превращена в крепость для защиты саммита НАТО.

КПГ выражает свою безусловную солидарность с Компартией Турции и демонстрантами и требует немедленного освобождения 120 задержанных.

Руки прочь от турецких коммунистов и Коммунистической партии Турции!».

Comunicado de la Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central del KKE 

La Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central del KKE nn su comunicado sobre el  ataque a la manifestación del Partido Comunista de Turquía (TKP) con motivo de la Cumbre de la OTAN en Ankara, destacó lo siguiente:

“El KKE condena rotundamente el ataque policial y, en general, la represión que ha provocado heridos y detenciones entre los manifestantes, desatada por el gobierno turco contra la manifestación de ayer organizada por el Partido Comunista de Turquía en Ankara, para expresar su oposición a la Cumbre de la OTAN y a sus planes imperialistas dirigidos contra los pueblos.

Denunciamos la prohibición de las manifestaciones y de cualquier tipo de protesta que se ha impuesto en la capital turca, que se ha convertido en una fortaleza para proteger la Cumbre de la OTAN.

El KKE expresa su solidaridad incondicional con el TKP y con los manifestantes, y exige la liberación inmediata de los 120 detenidos.

¡Manos fuera de los comunistas turcos y del Partido Comunista de Turquía!”.
