The Solidarity Brigade of KNE completed its mission in Cuba

Regarding the Solidarity-with-Cuba Brigade of KNE, which has now completed its mission in Cuba, the Press Office of the Central Council of KNE notes the following:

“The Solidarity-with-Cuba Brigade of KNE, which began on August 2, has been successfully concluded, adding yet another important chapter to the expression of internationalist solidarity with the Island of the Revolution!

This initiative is part of the numerous actions and events in solidarity with the Cuban people and youth that the KKE and KNE have carried out recently. The mission was part of the 53rd European “José Martí” Solidarity Brigade organised by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

The members and cadres of KNE who participated in the brigade had the opportunity to take part in discussions and meetings about the history of Cuba and the Cuban Revolution, as well as the situation caused by the embargo imposed on Cuba by US imperialism and, in particular, the energy blockade of recent months. At the same time, they visited important monuments and historic sites associated with the Cuban Revolution in Havana, Santa Clara and Cienfuegos.

The Brigade members undertook symbolic volunteer work and delivered medical supplies to a hospital and school supplies to an orphanage, demonstrating the importance of internationalist solidarity in practice.

Additionally, the KNE delegation visited the impressive building of the Cuban trade unions, the CTC headquarters, where they held a meeting and exchanged valuable insights into the labour movements in each country.

The highlight of the activities was the 1st International Colloquium, “Fidel: Legacy and Future”, held in Havana to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz's birth. A delegation from the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), led by Giorgos Marinos, member of the Political Bureau of the CC of the KKE, also participated in these events.

In the framework of the brigade, a meeting was held between a delegation of KNE and the Union of Young Communists of Cuba (UJC), specifically with Yaliel Combo Calvo, Second Secretary of the Organization, and Mirthia Julia Brossard Oris, member of the National Bureau. During the meeting,  KNE and the youth of our country as a whole expressed their solidarity and support for the struggle of the Cuban people, and the two organisations engaged in a rich exchange of experiences regarding their activities.

The brigade’s activities sent a message of solidarity to the Cuban people and the youth of Cuba, condemning imperialist aggression and the devastating U.S. economic blockade that suffocates Cuba.

We condemn the new sanctions against Cuba announced by the U.S. Department of State on August 21, which this time target officials of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, as well as the targeting of the solidarity-with-Cuba brigades, such as that of KNE, by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

We emphasise our internationalist message and demand the removal of Cuba from the list of “state sponsors of terrorism”, as well as an end to any prosecutions against Raúl Castro.

We are inspired by the example of the great communist revolutionary, leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.

We are intensifying the struggle to overthrow the decayed, exploitative capitalist system of poverty and wars in our country and to build the new society of socialism-communism.

Cuba is not alone!

Ha concluido la Brigada de Solidaridad de la KNE en Cuba

Con motivo de la conclusión de la Brigada de Solidaridad de la KNE en Cuba, la Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central de la KNE señala lo siguiente:

“La Brigada de Solidaridad de la KNE en Cuba, que comenzó el 2 de agosto, ha concluido con éxito, ¡añadiendo así otra página importante a la expresión de solidaridad internacional con la Isla de la Revolución!

La iniciativa fue la continuación de decenas de acciones y actos de solidaridad con el pueblo y la juventud de Cuba que han llevado a cabo el KKE y la KNE en el período anterior. La misión formaba parte de la 53.ª brigada europea de solidaridad “José Martí”, organizada por el Instituto Cubano de Amistad entre los Pueblos.

Los miembros y dirigentes de la KNE que formaron parte de la brigada tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en debates y encuentros sobre la historia de Cuba y la Revolución Cubana, la situación provocada por el bloqueo del imperialismo estadounidense y, sobre todo, el bloqueo energético de los últimos meses. Al mismo tiempo, visitaron importantes monumentos y lugares históricos de la Revolución Cubana en La Habana, Santa Clara y Cienfuegos.

Los miembros de la brigada participaron en trabajo voluntario simbólico y entregaron material médico y farmacéutico a un hospital, así como material escolar a un orfanato, demostrando en la práctica la importancia de la solidaridad internacionalista.

Además, la brigada de la KNE visitó el imponente edificio de los sindicatos cubanos, la sede de la CTC, donde hubo un encuentro en el que se compartieron numerosas experiencias sobre el movimiento obrero de cada país.

Las actividades culminaron con el I Coloquio Internacional “Fidel: legado y futuro”, celebrado en La Habana en homenaje al centenario del nacimiento del Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz, en el que participó la brigada. En estos actos también participó una delegación del KKE encabezada por Giorgos Marino, miembro del Buró Político del Comité Central del KKE.

En el marco de la brigada, se celebró una reunión entre una delegación de la KNE y la Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas de Cuba, concretamente con Yaliel Combo Calvo, segundo secretario de la organización, y Mirthia Julia Brossard Oris, miembro del Buró Nacional. En la reunión se expresó la solidaridad y el apoyo de la KNE, y de toda la juventud de nuestro país, a la lucha del pueblo cubano, al tiempo que se intercambió una gran experiencia de la actividad de ambas organizaciones.

Las actividades de la brigada enviaron un mensaje de solidaridad al pueblo cubano y a la juventud de Cuba, condenando la agresividad imperialista y el bloqueo económico devastador de EE.UU., que no deja a Cuba respirar.

Condenamos las nuevas sanciones contra Cuba anunciadas por el Departamento de Estado de EE.UU. el 21 de agosto, que esta vez se centran en miembros del Instituto Cubano de Amistad entre los Pueblos, y el ataque contra las brigadas de solidaridad con Cuba, como la de la KNE, por parte del ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de EE.UU., Marco Rubio.

Reiteramos nuestro mensaje internacionalista y exigimos la retirada de Cuba de la infame lista de “patrocinadores del terrorismo” y que se ponga fin a cualquier proceso de persecución contra Raúl Castro.

Nos inspira el ejemplo del gran revolucionario comunista, líder de la Revolución Cubana, Fidel Castro.

Intensificamos la lucha para derrocar el podrido y explotador sistema capitalista de la pobreza y las guerras, en nuestro país, y para construir la nueva sociedad del socialismo-comunismo.

La Brigade de solidarité de la KNE a achevé sa mission à Cuba

Concernant la Brigade de solidarité avec Cuba de la KNE, qui vient d’achever sa mission à Cuba, le Bureau de presse du Conseil central de la KNE indique ce qui suit:

«La Brigade de solidarité avec Cuba de la KNE, qui a débuté le 2 août, s’est achevée avec succès, marquant ainsi un nouveau moment important dans l’expression de la solidarité internationaliste avec l’Île de la Révolution!

Cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre des nombreuses actions et manifestations de solidarité avec le peuple et la jeunesse cubains que le KKE et la KNE ont menées récemment. La mission s’inscrivait dans le cadre de la 53e Brigade européenne de solidarité «José Martí» organisée par l’Institut cubain d’amitié avec les peuples (ICAP).

Les membres et cadres de la KNE qui ont participé à la brigade ont eu l’occasion de prendre part à des débats et à des réunions sur l’histoire de Cuba et de la Révolution cubaine, ainsi que sur la situation provoquée par l’embargo imposé à Cuba par l’impérialisme états-unien et, en particulier, par le blocus énergétique de ces derniers mois. Parallèlement, ils ont visité d’importants monuments et sites historiques liés à la Révolution cubaine à La Havane, Santa Clara et Cienfuegos.

Les membres de la brigade ont également travaillé comme bénévoles dans le cadre d’actions symboliques et ont remis des fournitures médicales à un hôpital ainsi que des fournitures scolaires à un orphelinat, démontrant ainsi concrètement l’importance de la solidarité internationaliste.

Par ailleurs, la délégation de la KNE a visité l’impressionnant bâtiment des syndicats cubains, le siège de la CTC, où elle a tenu une réunion et échangé des informations intéressantes sur les mouvements syndicaux de chaque pays.

Le point culminant de ces activités fut le 1er colloque international intitulé «Fidel: héritage et avenir», organisé à La Havane pour célébrer le centenaire de la naissance du commandant Fidel Castro Ruz. Une délégation du Parti Communiste de Grèce (KKE), dirigée par Giorgos Marinos, membre du Bureau politique du Comité central du KKE, a également pris part à ces événements.

Dans le cadre de la brigade, une rencontre a eu lieu entre une délégation de la KNE et l’Union des Jeunes Communistes de Cuba (UJC), plus précisément avec Yaliel Combo Calvo, deuxième secrétaire de l’organisation, et Mirthia Julia Brossard Oris, membre du Bureau national. Au cours de cette rencontre, la KNE et la jeunesse de notre pays dans son ensemble ont exprimé leur solidarité et leur soutien à la lutte du peuple cubain, et les deux organisations ont également échangé sur leurs activités respectives.

Les activités de la brigade ont permis d’adresser un message de solidarité au peuple cubain et à la jeunesse de Cuba, condamnant l’agression impérialiste et le blocus économique états-unien dévastateur qui étouffe Cuba.

Nous condamnons les nouvelles sanctions contre Cuba annoncées par le Département d’État des États-Unis le 21 août, qui visent cette fois-ci des responsables de l’Institut cubain d’amitié avec les peuples, ainsi que la prise pour cible des brigades de solidarité avec Cuba, telles que celle de la KNE, par le secrétaire d’État des États-Unis, Marco Rubio.

Nous réaffirmons notre message internationaliste et exigeons le retrait de Cuba de la liste des «États soutenant le terrorisme», ainsi que la fin de toute poursuite judiciaire à l’encontre de Raúl Castro.

Nous nous inspirons de l’exemple du grand révolutionnaire communiste, leader de la Révolution cubaine, Fidel Castro.

Nous intensifions la lutte pour renverser le système capitaliste pourri et exploiteur, source de pauvreté et de guerres dans notre pays, et pour construire la nouvelle société du socialisme-communisme.

اختتمت مهام بعثة الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية التضامنية في كوبا

أفاد بيان للمكتب اﻹعلامي للمجلس المركزي للشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية بشأن اكتمال مهام بعثة الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية التضامنية في كوبا، بنحو تفصيلي بالتالي:

«اختُتمت بنجاح مهام بعثة الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية التضامنية في كوبا التي انطلقت في 2 آب\أغسطس، لتُضيف بذلك صفحةً هامةً أخرى إلى اﻹعراب عن التضامن الأممي مع جزيرة الثورة! 

شكَّلت هذه المبادرة استمرارية لعشرات الأنشطة و التظاهرات التضامنية مع الشعب والشباب الكوبي التي نفّذها الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني والشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية في الفترة المنقضية. هذا و كانت هذه البعثة جزءاً من بعثة التضامن الأوروبية اﻟ53  "خوسيه مارتي" التي نظّمها المعهد الكوبي لصداقة الشعوب. 

حيث أُتيحت الفرصة لأعضاء وكوادر الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية المشاركين في البعثة للمشاركة في مناقشات ولقاءات حول تاريخ كوبا والثورة الكوبية، والوضع الناجم عن الحصار الإمبريالي الأمريكي، ولا سيما الحصار المفروض على قطاع الطاقة خلال الأشهر الأخيرة. و في الوقت ذاته، زاروا معالم ومواقع تاريخية هامة للثورة الكوبية في هافانا وسانتا كلارا وسينفويغوس.

شارك أعضاء البعثة في أعمال تطوعية رمزية، حيث قاموا بتوزيع مواد طبية ودوائية على أحد المستشفيات، بالإضافة إلى لوازم مدرسية على دار أيتام، مُجسدين بذلك عملياً أهمية التضامن الأممي. 

كما و زارت البعثة مبنى النقابات العمالية الكوبية المهيب، مقر اتحاد عمال كوبا، حيث جرى خلال اللقاء تبادل خبرات ثرية حول الحركة العمالية في كلا البلدين. 

وبلغت هذه الفعاليات ذروتها في الندوة الدولية الأولى بعنوان "فيديل: الإرث والمستقبل"، التي أقيمت في هافانا احتفاءاً بالذكرى المئوية لميلاد القائد فيديل كاسترو روز، و التي شاركت بها البعثة. كما و شارك في هذه التظاهرات وفد للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، برئاسة يورغوس مارينوس، عضو المكتب السياسي للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني.

و في إطار أنشطة البعثة، عُقد اجتماع بين وفد للشبيبة الشيوعية العمالية مع اتحاد الشباب الشيوعي الكوبي، وتحديداً مع يائيل كوبو كالف، السكرتير الثاني للمنظمة، وميرثيا جوليا بروسارد أوريس، عضو المكتب الوطني. حيث أعربَ خلال الاجتماع عن تضامن ودعم الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية، وكذلك شباب بلدنا عموماً لنضال الشعب الكوبي، في حين جرى تبادل خلاله خبرات قيّمة مستنبطة من أنشطة المنظمتين. 

هذا و أرسلت أنشطة البعثة رسالة تضامن إلى الشعب الكوبي وشباب كوبا، مُدينةً العدوان الإمبريالي والحصار الاقتصادي المدمر الذي تفرضه الولايات المتحدة والذي لا يسمح لكوبا بأن تتنفس.

 ندين العقوبات الجديدة المفروضة على كوبا، والتي أعلنتها وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية في 21 آب\أغسطس، والتي تركز هذه المرة على مسؤولي المعهد الكوبي لصداقة الشعوب، و تستهدف بعثات التضامن مع كوبا، كبعثة الشبيبة الشيوعية اليونانية من قبل وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو. 

إننا نُعزز رسالتنا الأممية ونطالب بإزالة كوبا من القائمة غير المقبولة بشأن "رعاية الإرهاب"، و بوقف جميع إجراءات الملاحقة ضد راؤول كاسترو. 

و نستلهم من مثال الثوري الشيوعي العظيم، قائد الثورة الكوبية، فيديل كاسترو. 

و نُعزز الصراع من أجل إسقاط النظام الرأسمالي الاستغلالي العفِن الذي يُسبب الفقر والحروب في بلادنا، من أجل بناء مجتمع جديد مجتمع الاشتراكية - الشيوعية. 

إن كوبا ليست وحدها!
