The pirate attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla fully reflects the criminal character of the murderous state of Israel

In a statement regarding the attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli armed forces, the Press Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece emphasizes the following:

“The KKE condemns the attack by Israeli armed forces on the Global Sumud Flotilla, including the Greek ship Oxygen, which was carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip that is under blockade.

This pirate attack fully reflects the criminal character of the murderous state of Israel, which acts in violation of every concept of international law towards the Palestinian people and the solidarity movement with them.

The EU’s hypocrisy and support for Israel’s policies has once again been exposed, leaving the crew vulnerable to interception by Israel. The Greek government bears enormous responsibility because, despite repeated requests, it did absolutely nothing to protect the crew members, committed as it is to its strategic alliance with the murderous state. It is still essential to ensure the safe arrival of ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and the release of the crew members detained by Israel.”

El ataque pirata contra la flotilla Global Sumud Flotilla refleja plenamente el carácter criminal del Estado asesino de Israel

En su comunicado sobre el ataque de las fuerzas armadas israelíes a la flotilla «Global Sumud Flotilla», la Oficina de Prensa del Comité Central del KKE subraya lo siguiente:

«El KKE condena el ataque de las fuerzas armadas israelíes contra la flotilla «Global Sumud Flotilla», entre las que se encuentra el barco «Oxígeno» de la misión griega, cuyo objetivo es transportar ayuda humanitaria a la bloqueada Gaza.

Este ataque pirata refleja plenamente el carácter criminal del Estado asesino de Israel, que actúa en contra de cualquier concepto de derecho internacional contra el pueblo palestino y el movimiento de solidaridad con él.

Una vez más, queda demostrada la hipocresía de la UE y su apoyo a la política de Israel, dejando a la tripulación expuesta al «asalto» israelí. El Gobierno griego tiene una enorme responsabilidad, ya que, a pesar de los llamamientos, no hizo absolutamente nada para proteger a los miembros de la tripulación, fiel a su estrategia de alianza con el Estado asesino. Incluso ahora es necesario garantizar la llegada segura de los barcos a Gaza para la entrega de la ayuda humanitaria y la liberación de los miembros de la tripulación retenidos por Israel.
