There’s no room for complacency!
We must struggle against fascism, which is a product of the capitalist system

On 18 September, a large anti-fascist rally was held in Keratsini, with the participation of dozens of trade unions, mass organizations, and student unions, twelve years after the murder of young musician Pavlos Fyssas by fascists from the Golden Dawn party.

A large march followed the rally heading to Kokkinia, where in August 1944 the German fascist occupiers had set up a roadblock, leading to the execution of two hundred communists and other anti-fascist fighters.

Dimitris Koutsoumbas, GS of the CC of the KKE, attended the event and laid flowers at the memorial to Pavlos Fyssas. He then gave the following statement to the media: “Fascism is a product of the capitalist system, born in its womb, which is why there can be no room for complacency, only a constant struggle against it. Twelve years ago, a few hours after Pavlos Fyssas was murdered by the criminals of the Nazi Golden Dawn, we warned that ‘you must deeply understand fascism; it will not die alone — you must crush it’. The lyrics by Fondas Ladis are as relevant today as ever, with Michaliakos being released from prison, Kasidiaris preparing to follow suit, and the entire bourgeois state failing to take action against these scum of history.

The GS of the CC of the KKE spoke with Magda, the mother of Pavlos Fyssas, who had previously laid flowers at the memorial amid thunderous applause and an emotional atmosphere.

18 сентября в Керацини прошел крупный антифашистский митинг, приуроченный к 12-летней годовщине убийства молодого музыканта Павлоса Фиссаса фашистами из «Золотой зари», в котором приняли участие десятки профсоюзов, массовых организаций и студенческих объединений.

 Затем последовал марш до района Коккиния, где в августе 1944 года в ходе облавы немецко-фашистские оккупанты задержали, а затем расстреляли 200 коммунистов и других борцов-антифашистов.

В мероприятии принял участие Генсек ЦК Компартии Греции Димитрис Куцумбас, который возложил цветы к памятнику Павлосу Фиссасу и в своем заявлении СМИ отметил: «Фашизм порождает и подпитывает капиталистическая система, его порождает капитализм, поэтому  никакого самоуспокоения быть не должно, а нужна постоянная борьба с ними. Мы предупреждали 12 лет назад, спустя несколько часов после убийства Павлоса Фиссаса преступниками из нацистской «Золотой Зари», мы говорили: «фашизм глубоко пойми, он не умрет сам, раздави его». Эти слова поэта Фонтаса Ладиса как никогда актуальны сегодня, когда Михалолиакос выходит из тюрьмы, когда Касидиарис готовится выйти на свободу, когда буржуазное государство не принимает мер против этих отбросов Истории».

Генсек ЦК КПГ поговорил с матерью Павлоса Фиссаса, Магдой, после возложения ею цветов к памятнику, которое прошло в трогательной атмосфере под аплодисменты собравшихся.

¡No hay tiempo para la complacencia! ¡Luchamos contra el fascismo que es hijo del sistema capitalista!

El jueves 18 de septiembre tuvo lugar en Keratsini una gran concentración antifascista con la participación de decenas de sindicatos obreros, organizaciones de masas y asociaciones estudiantiles, 12 años después del asesinato del joven músico, Pavlos Fissas, por los fascistas del “Amanecer Dorado”.

A continuación se realizó una gran marcha hasta la ciudad de Kokkiniá, donde en agosto de 1944 ocupantes alemanes fascistas habían montado un bloqueo que condujo a la ejecución de 200 comunistas y otros luchadores antifascistas.

A la concentración asistió Dimitris Koutsoumpas, Secretario General del Comité Central del KKE, donde depositó unas flores en el monumento de Pavlos Fissas y declaró a los medios de comunicación lo siguiente:

“El fascismo es hijo del sistema capitalista, nace en el seno del capitalismo, y por eso no debemos mostrar complacencia sino luchar constantemente contra ellos. Habíamos avisado, habíamos destacado pocas horas después del asesinato de Pavlos Fissas, hace 12 años, por los criminales del Amanecer Dorado nazi, que “hay que entender profundamente el fascismo, no morirá solo, hay que aplastarlo”. Estos versos de Fontas Ladis son hoy más actuales que nunca, cuando Michaloliakos (ex líder del Amanecer Dorado) está por salir de la cárcel, cuando Kasidiaris se prepara para salir también, cuando el Estado burgués no toma medidas en contra de estos …..de la Historia.”

El Secretario General del CC del KKE habló con la madre de Pavlos Fissas, Magda, que poco antes había sido aplaudida y en un ambiente de emoción, había depositado flores en el monumento.

Lutte sans relâche contre le fascisme, enfanté par le système capitaliste

Un grand rassemblement antifasciste a eu lieu le 18 septembre à Keratsini, réunissant des dizaines de syndicats, de collectifs et d’associations étudiantes, 12 ans après l'assassinat du jeune musicien Pavlos Fyssas par les fascistes de l'«Aube Dorée».

Une grande marche a suivi jusqu'à Kokkinia, qui a été bloquée en août 1944 par les occupants fascistes allemands, ceux-ci procédant à l'exécution de 200 communistes et autres militants antifascistes.

Dimitris Koutsoumbas, Secrétaire Général du Comité Central du Parti Communiste de Grèce, a assisté à l'événement. Il a déposé des fleurs sur le monument dédié à Pavlos Fyssas, puis a déclaré aux médias: «Le fascisme est enfanté par le système capitaliste; il est né au sein du capitalisme, c'est pourquoi il ne peut y avoir de relâche, mais une lutte permanente contre le fascisme. Nous avions prévenu, quelques heures après le meurtre de Pavlos Fyssas, il y a 12 ans, par les criminels du parti nazi Aube Dorée, qu’ «on doit comprend profondément le fascisme, il ne mourra pas seul, écrasons-le». Ces paroles de Fonda Ladis sont plus que jamais d'actualité aujourd'hui, alors que Michaloliakos vient d'être libéré de prison et que Kasidiaris s'apprête à sortir, et que l'État bourgeois dans son ensemble ne prend aucune mesure contre ces rebuts de l'histoire».

Le Secrétaire Général du CC du KKE a ensuite rencontré Magda, la mère de Pavlos Fyssas, qui, sous les applaudissements et dans une atmosphère émouvante, avait déposé des fleurs sur le mémorial.
