The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued the following statement today (on December 10, 2022) condoling the death Comrade R C Singh:

Comrade R C Singh (Ram Chandra Singh), former member of Rajya Sabha and former invitee to the National Council of the Communist Party of India, breathed his last at AIIMS, New Delhi, on December 10, 2022. He was undergoing dialysis in AIIMS.

Com R C Singh was the member of the CPI West Bengal secretariat and president of West Bengal state committee of AITUC. He was a renowned leader of colliery workers.

As soon as the news reached party national headquarters General Secretary D Raja along with national council member Dr A A Khan rushed to AIIMS and conveyed party’s and his personal condolences to his two sons.

The National Secretariat conveys party's condolences to his wife and other bereaved members of the family.
