The Communist Party of Israel (CPI) and Hadash urgently demand an immediate end to the genocidal war against the Palestinian people

This includes halting the destruction of the Gaza Strip—its cities, towns, and refugee camps—as well as stopping annexation, settlement expansion, and forced deportations in the occupied West Bank. Every passing minute of this ongoing conflict results in further massacres and displacement that must cease without delay.

The so-called "Trump plan" to end the war on Gaza is a dangerous, US-driven initiative coordinated with the aggressor. It is riddled with political pitfalls and fails to provide a clear timetable for withdrawal from Gaza, revealing its true aim: to strengthen and prolong the occupation. This plan hijacks Palestinian political sovereignty, threatening to extend occupation policies beyond Gaza to all Palestinian territories, especially the West Bank. It disregards daily crimes committed by the occupation and its militias, obstructing the path toward a Palestinian state—a right recognized by 80% of the world’s countries inhabited by 90% of the world's population.

The plan envisions imposing a civil and political administration over Gaza, led by figures aligned with the occupation, such as Trump himself and Tony Blair, known agents of imperialist interests in the region. The current right-wing settler government in Israel, leads this war with almost no parliamentary opposition, relentlessly advancing its destructive agenda. Against this backdrop, CPI, Hadash, and their partners stand firm in opposition, courageously resisting genocidal war against the Palestinian people and all forms of oppression faced by Palestinians in Israel and Jewish democratic forces alike.

At this critical juncture, the highest priority is the immediate cessation of the war, starvation, and deportation. Humanitarian aid must flow without obstruction, and prisoners on both sides should be released immediately as part of a comprehensive peace agreement to end this conflict.

This perilous moment calls for a united Palestinian stance, unwavering in the face of schemes designed to undermine their right to self-governance, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Despite the continuing threats, we firmly believe in the inevitable defeat of occupation and the ultimate triumph of the just cause of the Palestinian people.
