Hyderabad: The United States has been exposed before the world as having nothing but empty threats. The sun of American imperialism is now setting, but under its imperialism, millions of people have been killed, and this process still continues.

Across the world, only communists and Iranians have consistently resisted this imperialism, sacrificing their leaders and many valuable comrades. The people of Iran have made immense sacrifices to defend their freedom and dignity. Now, the Iranian people will live with their heads held high before the world.

These views were expressed by Comrade Imdad Qazi, Central Secretary General of the Communist Party of Pakistan, in a party statement issued on the Iran–US ceasefire.

He said that the United States is a treacherous country and therefore cannot be trusted. The Iranian people, while remaining in a state of war readiness, should urge global peace forces to intensify efforts for peace.

In this regard, the continuous struggle carried out by the American people themselves, as well as by people in other European countries against the aggression of the United States and Israel, is commendable.

He further stated that the fate of nations and peoples is not decided in the heavens; rather, they must confront and defeat the “earthly gods” to determine their own destiny.

Imdad Qazi also said that only the Iranian people have the right to change their rulers or system. Whether they succeed tomorrow or after five years, this right cannot be granted to anyone else.
