KPP continues its activity
The Communist Party of Poland continues its activity and struggle for legal status. Due to the actions undertaken by us that undermined the previous verdict removing the Party from the register, and filed legal appeal, the district court in Warsaw reinstated the KPP to the registry of the political parties. In our motion to the court we have stressed that the ruling of the so-called Constitutional Court was illegal, and its acceptance by the court baseles. The decisive factor is that the ruling of the Constitutional Court was not published and its rulings are not accepted as valid on the grounds that its members were nominated under political pressure and without adherence to legal procedures.
Currently we may act legally. At the same time, the legal status of the KPP depends on the verdict of the appeal court on our previous application. So we are conducting current political activities and court battles.
We would like to thank all communist and workers' parties which supported us that struggle both with their statements and public mobilizations.
We will keep you informed about the development of the situation and participate in activities of the international communist movement.
