Central Committee of the PCV ratifies line of confrontation with the anti-people policies of the government of Nicolás Maduro

Caracas, 24-07-2023 (Redacción TP).- The IV Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), meeting in Caracas last Sunday, July 23, evaluated the defense actions of the organization before the judicial maneuver in course to steal the acronym of the PCV and ratified its policy of regrouping forces to fight for the recovery of the rights violated by the Government of Nicolás Maduro. 

"We have noted the cohesion of the party, the firmness and consequence of its leadership, which is committed to continue promoting the popular struggle; the struggle with the workers, the struggle with the peasant and communal movement; the resistance against neoliberal policies, informed this Monday during a press statement, the General Secretary of the PCV, Oscar Figuera.

The communist leader highlighted "the unity and cohesion of the entire party and all its militancy, in the face of the mercenaries who lend themselves to try to assault it; to try to usurp its legal personality; to try to steal the Communist Party of Venezuela through an action before the Supreme Court of Justice". 

"Our IV Plenum of the Central Committee manifested its decision to continue fighting; not to surrender, not to surrender, whatever the decisions from the apparatus of the bourgeois State may be adopted", he added.

Figuera reiterated that "the Venezuelan people, the workers, can have the confidence that they will continue to count on a Communist Party of Venezuela that pushes the struggles, the unity of the people and the resistances. 

The General Secretary detailed that the Central Committee considered correct the legal actions that the PCV has adopted and the denunciation at national and international level. 

In this sense, he informed that numerous communist and workers parties have sent a public letter to President Nicolás Maduro to demand that the political rights of the PCV be respected. 

The Central Committee noted that "the campaign being developed by the leadership of the Government and the PSUV to try to disqualify the Communist Party of Venezuela continues; to try to build the matrix that the Communist Party is divided", explained Figuera. 

The PCV denounced "the abusive use of the media, which are the common property of all the Venezuelan people, to attack our party, to lie shamelessly and to try to build a false positive". 

"We take this opportunity to once again demand from Venezolana de Televisión, as well as from various private media that have been lending themselves to this fallacious and abusive campaign against the Communist Party a right to reply, as established by the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela", said Figuera.

Meeting in defense of the rights of the people

More than 200 activists from different political, social and trade union organizations participated last Saturday, July 22, in the National Meeting in Defense of the People under the slogan "Let's unite all the struggles!". 

"It was truly a successful day that signifies a new step in the process of regrouping forces, of meeting again, of continuing to advance with a view to the construction of a powerful movement capable of confronting and defeating the two poles responsible for the national disaster, the sectors of the traditional oligarchy, allied with transnational capital and the sectors that from the Government betrayed the historic project and today are groups of the nouveau riche, mafia-like and corrupt that are handing over the country to big capital while developing an anti-worker, anti-popular and anti-national neo-liberal policy", explained Figuera. 

For the Secretary General of the PCV, this meeting "augurs an important advance of the popular, revolutionary, authentically democratic currents and of the base nuclei of the popular movement that we continue building unity of the people to defeat the sectors of capital".

Comité Central del PCV ratifica línea de confrontación con la política antipopular del Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro

Caracas, 24-07-2023 (Redacción TP).- El IV Pleno del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), reunido en Caracas el pasado domingo 23 de julio, evaluó las acciones de defensa de la organización ante la maniobra judicial en curso para robar las siglas del Gallo Rojo y ratificó su política de reagrupamiento de fuerzas para luchar por la recuperación de los derechos conculcados por el Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro. 

“Hemos constatado la cohesión del partido, la firmeza y consecuencia de su dirección, que se compromete a seguir impulsando la lucha popular; la lucha con los trabajadores y las trabajadoras, la lucha con el movimiento campesino y comunero; la resistencia frente a las políticas neoliberales informó este lunes durante una declaración de prensa, el Secretario General del PCV, Oscar Figuera. 

El dirigente comunista destacó “la unidad y la cohesión de todo el partido y toda su militancia, frente a los mercenarios que se prestan para tratar de asaltarlo; para intentar usurpar su personalidad jurídica; para intentar robarse al Partido Comunista de Venezuela a través de una acción ante el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia”. 

“Nuestro IV Pleno del Comité Central manifestó su decisión de seguir luchando; de no rendirse, de no entregarse, cualesquiera que sean las decisiones que desde el aparato del Estado burgués se adopten”, agregó. 

Figuera reiteró que “el pueblo venezolano, los trabajadores y las trabajadoras, pueden tener la confianza en que continuarán contando con un Partido Comunista de Venezuela que empuja las luchas, la unidad del pueblo y las resistencias. 

El Secretario General detalló que el Comité Central consideró correctas las acciones jurídicas que el PCV ha adoptado y la denuncia a nivel nacional e internacional. 

En este sentido, informó que numerosos partidos comunistas y obreros han enviado una carta pública al Presidente Nicolás Maduro para exigir que se respecten los derechos políticos del PCV. 

El Comité Central constató que continúa “la campaña que se viene desarrollando desde la cúpula del Gobierno y el PSUV para intentar descalificar al Partido Comunista de Venezuela; para intentar construir la matriz de que el Partido Comunista está dividido”, explicó Figuera. 

El PCV denunció “la utilización abusiva de los medios de comunicación, que son propiedad común de todo el pueblo venezolano, para agredir a nuestro partido, para mentir descaradamente y para intentar construir un falso positivo”. 

“Aprovechamos esta oportunidad para de nuevo exigirle a Venezolana de Televisión, así como a diversos medios de comunicación privados que se han prestado para esta falaz y abusiva campaña contra el Partido Comunista un derecho a réplica, como lo establece la Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela”, dijo Figuera.

Encuentro en defensa de los derechos del pueblo

Más de 200 activistas de distintas organizaciones políticas, sociales y gremiales participaron el pasado sábado 22 de julio en el Encuentro Nacional en Defensa del Pueblo bajo la consigna “¡A unir todas las luchas!”. 

“Fue realmente una jornada exitosa que significa un nuevo escalón en el proceso de reagrupar fuerzas, de reencontrarnos, de seguir avanzando con miras a la construcción de un poderoso movimiento capaz de enfrentar y derrotar a los dos polos responsables del desastre nacional, a los sectores de la tradicional oligarquía, aliada del capital transnacional y a los sectores que desde el Gobierno traicionaron el proyecto histórico y hoy son grupos de nuevos ricos, mafiosos y corrompidos que están entregando el país al gran capital mientras desarrollan una política neoliberal antiobrera, antipopular y antinacional”, explicó Figuera. 

Para el Secretario General del PCV, este encuentro “augura un avance importante de las corrientes populares, revolucionarias, auténticamente democráticas y de los núcleos de base del movimiento popular que seguimos construyendo unidad del pueblo para derrotar a los sectores del capital”.
