Aggression Against Venezuela is a Brazen Crime of US Imperialists!

Statement of the Central Committee of the CPRF 

 

The world has seen yet another monstrous act of imperialist aggression. In the small hours of January 3, 2026 the US Air Force delivered massive strikes on Caracas and other cities in Venezuela. The targets included the President’s residence, the National Assembly building, the Hugo Chavez Mausoleum, military facilities and transportation hubs. The barbarous act claimed lives, including women and children.  One of the aims of these strikes is to demoralize the nation and break its will to resist.

The scale of destruction and the number of victims have yet to be assessed. But it is perfectly clear that the Trump regime will stop a nothing to overthrow an undesirable government of an independent state. Another bloody crime has been added to the long list of imperialists’ evil acts. The US ruling circles have again demonstrated to the world their true essence. An armed attack has been launched against a country whose authorities have dared to follow an independent path of development, to use its natural resources for social development and to pursue a policy in the interests of the working people.

The night air strike on the territory of a sovereign state is a gross violation of the UN Charter and international law. It is nothing if not an open act of state terrorism aimed at toppling the legitimate government and installing a puppet regime by force. There can be no justification for such actions.

A new bloody crime has been perpetrated against peace and security. It adds to the list of evil deeds of the US imperial policy over decades. The wars in Vietnam and Korea, attempts to invade Cuba, the bloody coup in Chile, the tragedies in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and Syria – all these actions “to restore order” have claimed millions of victims, people who have been robbed, forced to become refugees, maimed and killed.

The US bears the main responsibility for the war in Ukraine. It was Washington and its European satellites who fomented the Bandera maidan, backed the Nazi battalions, overthrew the legitimate government and prepared the false Minsk agreements. Ukraine was being pumped with weapons and drawn into a military clash with Russia.

The imperialists continue to take steps to assert their global hegemony. Reacting to the US attack on Venezuela, Kallas, the head of European diplomacy, said that the European Union is “closely watching” the situation and that Maduro “does not have enough legitimacy.” All this is an overt attempt to play up to Washington and cover up the criminal character of its aggressive actions. 

Ever since Hugo Chavez’s confident victory in the 1998 presidential election Venezuela has been a constant worry for the global capital and is agents. In the past two centuries the White House has seen Latin America as its “backyard.” By speaking out in favor of “21st-century socialism” Caracas delivered a hefty blow at the US positions in the region.  The socio-economic reforms of the left-wing government in the interests of the masses became a thorn in the side for Washington. 

The attempt to reverse the choice of the popular masses failed. Venezuelans courageously withstood the US economic blockade, financial aggression and sanctions terror. Their struggle was not only in defense of their own country. It became a frontline of the world anti-imperialist resistance.

Global capital was infuriated when others followed the example of Caracas. Over the past years the adherents of socialist transformations scored important victories and gained new state governance experience in Brazil, Argentina, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador and other countries. The Bolivarian ALBA alliance united the progressive forces of the region, challenging the unequal unions under Washington’s aegis.

The US had no intention of releasing its greedy grip on Latin America. It used every trick in the book – coup attempts, tough sanctions and undisguised support of the right-wing opposition. The climax of these actions during Trump’s first presidency was his team’s attempt to declare their man, Juan Guaido, president of Venezuela. The adventure failed. The people refused to trade independence and social guarantees for the false chimeras of liberal democracy. The collaborators who were prepared to surrender their country to alien interests suffered a humiliating defeat. 

As soon as he returned to power Donald Trump resumed his onslaught on Caracas. The hopes that his administration would concentrate on solving internal problems of the US, proved illusory. Global capital needed new international adventures in order to preserve its hegemony. Like his predecessors, Trump assiduously fulfils the orders of the oligarchy. The new national security strategy has revived the “Monroe doctrine” which declares that there can be no other global players in Latin America than Washington. 

The escalation of the conflict began several months ago, with the White House groundlessly accusing Venezuela’s leadership of conniving at drug trafficking. This utterly false claim formed the basis of the preparation for aggression. The US maintained a large military force in the Caribbean ever since the 1989 “Panama Crisis.” The US tightened the blockade of Venezuela, brazenly demanding the capitulation of the legitimate government. 

As before, the Venezuelan people rallied around its leaders. Attempts to stage noisy protests and a government coup by the hands of the mock opposition failed. Having failed to create a semblance of a “color opposition” the imperialist circles resorted to an overt invasion.

The seizure by the US military of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife was a monstrous crime. We are looking at an act of international terrorism involving the kidnaping by the armed forces of a foreign power of the head of a sovereign state and a member of his family.

Particularly concerning are reports that Nicolas Maduro has been taken to the territory of the United States. It should be borne in mind that any encroachment on the life and freedom of a legitimately elected head of state is not just a crime against a concrete individual. It is an act of war against the whole country, its principles of people’s rule, sovereignty and international law.

The aggression that has been perpetrated goes far beyond the framework of an attack on a single state. It is a challenge to the entire Latin American region. An attempt is being made to bring it back into the era of neo-colonialism when the US installed “banana thrones” of adventurers whom they vested with dictatorial powers. Donald Trump’s policy is directly aimed at throwing Latin America decades back, depriving it of sovereignty, its social gains and historical perspective.

The Central Committee of the CPRF unequivocally condemns the latest US miliary adventure against an independent state. We express profound solidarity with the fraternal people of Venezuela, its struggle for independence, its striving to build a socially just society. There can be no justification of the criminal actions of the American military!

We demand an immediate and unconditional end of Washington’s aggressive actions with regard to an independent state. We stress that the responsibility for the life and health of Nicolas Maduro and his wife lies squarely and barely on the leadership of the United States. The President of Venezuela must be returned to Caracas without any conditions to be able to perform his duties as the head of state.

We are convinced that the power bodies and all the political forces in Russia should proceed from the need to get Washington to end its imperialist aggression. It is high time for everyone to recognize that any illusions that the current US administration is to be preferred to “globalist democrats” are not only hollow but dangerous. 

We call on the BRICS countries and on every state that comes out for a multipolar world to take urgent collective measures in defense of international law. We deem it necessary to immediately put this issue up for discussion by the UN Security Council. We stress the growing urgency of forming and strengthening collective security systems which would be capable of opposing the NATO bloc and any claimants to world hegemony.

We call on the progressive forces of the planet to unite for rebuffing the invasion of Venezuela. All the opponents of imperialism, working people, communists and patriots must form a common front against the new wave of the militaristic actions of the US. We appeal to the left parties and movements, the trade unions and social organizations, and all the honest people of the planet to launch a broad campaign of international solidarity with the people of Venezuela.

The essence of what is happening is clear. Behind it are the interests of the financial capital and the miliary-industrial complex of the United States. They are anxious to establish control over the exceedingly rich natural resources of Latin America. We are dealing with the capitalist class which, for all the internal differences, is one in the main thing: the desire to preserve its world dominance and suppress any hints at independence.

Imperialism is the main threat to peace and security of humankind. Aggression against Venezuela is a logical link in the chain of actions of neocolonialists. To watch such actions silently would mean to get an imperialism that is still more belligerent, vicious and confident of its impunity. Only a consolidated struggle of the peoples against the diktat of capital, for socialism, for genuine rule of the people can block the path toward new wars, interventions and destruction. 

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation insists on:

- unconditional end of the US military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela;

- immediate release of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife;

- total termination of any external interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela;

- an international investigation into the criminal actions of the US and on bringing the persons responsible to account;

- a principled stand and active role of all the states in defending the sovereignty of Venezuela.

Long live the gains of the Bolivarian revolution and the legacy of Hugo Chavez!

Мир вновь стал свидетелем чудовищного акта империалистической агрессии. В ранние часы 3 января 2026 года ВВС США нанесли массированные удары по Каракасу и другим центрам Венесуэлы. Под обстрел попали резиденция Президента, здание Национального собрания, мавзолей Уго Чавеса, военные объекты и транспортные узлы. В результате варварской акции есть погибшие, включая женщин и детей. Среди целей таких ударов – деморализация нации, слом её воли к сопротивлению. 

Все разрушения и жертвы ещё предстоит подсчитать. Однако уже сейчас совершенно ясно: режим Трампа готов на всё, чтобы свергнуть неугодное правительство самостоятельного государства. Длинный список злодеяний империалистов пополнился очередным кровавым преступлением. Правящие круги США вновь продемонстрировали миру свою подлинную сущность. Совершено вооруженное нападение на страну, власти которой осмелились отстаивать самостоятельный путь развития, использовать природные ресурсы ради социального развития, проводить политику в интересах трудящихся.

Ночной авиаудар по территории суверенного государства стал грубейшим нарушением Устава ООН и норм международного права. Налицо откровенный акт государственного терроризма, направленный на свержение законной власти и установление силой марионеточного режима. Подобные действия не могут иметь никакого оправдания. 

Совершено новое кровавое преступление против мира и безопасности. Оно продолжает злодеяния имперской политики США, длящейся десятилетиями. Войны во Вьетнаме и Корее, попытки вторжения на Кубу, кровавый переворот в Чили, трагедии Югославии, Ирака, Ливии, Афганистана, Сирии – за всеми действиями «по наведению порядка» стоят миллионы пострадавших – ограбленных, ставших беженцами, искалеченных и погибших.

Именно США несут главную вину за развязывание войны на Украине. Это Вашингтон и его европейские сателлиты разжигали бандеровский майдан, поддерживали нацистские батальоны, свергали легитимную власть, готовили фальшивые Минские соглашения. Украину активно накачивали оружием и вовлекали в военное столкновение с Россией. 

Империалисты продолжают совершать деяния с целью утверждения своей глобальной гегемонии. Оценивая атаку США на Венесуэлу, глава дипломатии ЕС Каллас заявила, что Евросоюз «пристально следит за ситуацией» и что Мадуро «не имеет достаточной легитимности». Всё это откровенная попытка подыграть Вашингтону и прикрыть преступный характер его агрессивных действий. 

Вот уже четверть века – с момента уверенной победы Уго Чавеса на выборах в 1998 году – Венесуэла не даёт покоя глобальному капиталу и его агентам. За два столетия Белый дом привык рассматривать Латинскую Америку как свой «задний двор». Выступая с идеями «социализма XXI века», Каракас нанёс ощутимый удар по позициям США в регионе. Социально-экономические реформы левого правительства в интересах народных масс встали для Вашингтона костью в горле. 

Попытка задушить выбор народных масс не удалась. Венесуэльцы мужественно противостояли экономической блокаде, финансовой агрессии и санкционному террору со стороны США. Их борьба стала защитой не только собственной Родины. Она превратилась в передовой рубеж всемирного антиимпериалистического сопротивления.

Глобальный капитал был взбешён и тем, что примеру Каракаса последовали другие. За прошедшее время приверженцы социалистических преобразований одерживали важные победы и накопили новый опыт государственного управления в Бразилии, Аргентине, Никарагуа, Боливии, Эквадоре и других странах. Боливарианский альянс АЛБА объединил прогрессивные правительства региона, бросив вызов неравноправным союзам под эгидой Вашингтона.

США не собирались выпускать Латинскую Америку из своих жадных лап. В ход шло всё – попытки переворотов, жестокие санкции, беззастенчивая поддержка правой оппозиции. Кульминацией этих действий в период первого президентства Трампа стала попытка его команды объявить президентом Венесуэлы своего ставленника Хуана Гуайдо. Но авантюра провалилась. Трудящиеся не захотели менять независимость и социальные гарантии на лживые химеры либеральной демократии. Коллаборанты, готовые подчинить страну чужим интересам, были посрамлены. 

Едва вернувшись к власти, Дональд Трамп возобновил наступление на Каракас. Надежды на то, что его администрация сосредоточится на решении внутренних проблем США, оказались иллюзиями. Глобальному капиталу нужны новые международные авантюры для сохранения своей гегемонии. Трамп, как и его предшественники, старательно выполняет заказ олигархических кругов. Латинской Америке уделяется в этой политике особое внимание. Новая стратегия национальной безопасности США возродила «доктрину Монро». Провозглашается, что в Латинской Америке не может быть других глобальных игроков, кроме Вашингтона. 

Эскалация конфликта началась несколько месяцев назад. Белый дом безосновательно обвинил руководство Венесуэлы в потворстве наркобизнесу. На этой предельно лживой основе была развёрнута подготовка к агрессии. Со времён «Панамского кризиса» 1989 года в Карибское море была стянута крупнейшая военная группировка. США ужесточили блокаду Венесуэлы, нагло требуя капитуляции законного правительства. 

Как и прежде, венесуэльский народ сплотился вокруг своих руководителей. Добиться шумных протестов и государственного переворота руками опереточной оппозиции не удалось. Не сумев имитировать очередную цветную революцию, империалистические круги перешли к открытой интервенции. 

Чудовищным преступлением стал бандитский захват военными США президента Боливарианской Республики Венесуэла Николаса Мадуро и его супруги. Налицо акт международного терроризма с похищением главы суверенного государства и члена его семьи, совершённое вооружёнными силами иностранной державы.

Особую тревогу вызывают сообщения о вывозе Николаса Мадуро на территорию Соединённых Штатов. Напоминаем, что любое посягательство на жизнь и свободу законно избранного главы государства – это не только преступление против конкретной личности. Речь идёт об акте войны против всей страны, против самих принципов народовластия, суверенитета и международного права.

Совершённая агрессия выходит далеко за рамки нападения на одно государство. Брошен вызов всему латиноамериканскому региону. Предпринимается попытка силой вернуть его к эпохе неоколониализма, когда США навязывали народам марионеточные режимы, возводили на «банановые троны» угодных себе авантюристов, наделяли их диктаторскими полномочиями. Политика Дональда Трампа прямо нацелена на то, чтобы отбросить Латинскую Америку на десятилетия назад, лишить её суверенитета, социальных завоеваний и исторической перспективы.

Центральный Комитет КПРФ безоговорочно осуждает очередную военную авантюру США против независимого государства. Выражаем глубокую солидарность с братским народом Венесуэлы, с его борьбой за независимость, с его стремлением строить социально справедливое общество. Преступным действиям американской военщины нет и не может быть никакого оправдания!

Требуем немедленного и безоговорочного прекращения агрессивных действий Вашингтона в отношении независимого государства. Особо подчеркиваем: вся полнота ответственности за жизнь и здоровье Николаса Мадуро и его супруги лежит на руководстве Соединённых Штатов. Президент Венесуэлы должен быть без всяких условий возвращен в Каракас для исполнения полномочий главы государства.

Мы убеждены, что органы власти и все политические силы России должны исходить из необходимости добиться от Вашингтона прекращения империалистической агрессии. Пора признать всем: любые иллюзии о предпочтительности нынешней администрации США перед «демократами-глобалистами» не просто пусты, но и опасны. 

Призываем страны БРИКС и каждое государство, выступающее за многополярный мир, принять срочные коллективные меры в защиту международного права. Считаем необходимым безотлагательное обсуждение вопроса в Совете Безопасности ООН. Всё более острой становится необходимость формирования и укрепления систем коллективной безопасности, которые будут способны противостоять блоку НАТО и любым претендентам на мировую гегемонию.

Призываем прогрессивные силы планеты сплотиться для отпора вторжению в Венесуэлу. Все противники империализма, трудящиеся, коммунисты и патриоты призваны выступить единым фронтом против новой волны милитаристских действий США. Обращаемся к левым партиям и движениям, профсоюзам, общественным организациям, ко всем честным людям планеты с призывом развернуть широкую кампанию международной солидарности с венесуэльским народом.

Суть происходящего очевидна. За ней стоят интересы финансового капитала и военно-промышленного комплекса США. Они рвутся установить контроль над богатейшими природными ресурсами Латинской Америки. Мы имеем дело с капиталистическим классом, который при всех внутренних разногласиях един в главном – в стремлении сохранить мировое господство и подавлять любые намёки на самостоятельность. 

Империализм остается главной угрозой миру и безопасности человечества. Агрессия против Венесуэлы – закономерное звено в цепи действий неоколониалистов. Молчаливо взирать на подобные действия означало бы получить ещё более воинственный, злобный, уверенный в своей безнаказанности империализм. Только сплоченная борьба народов против диктата капитала, за социализм, за подлинное народовластие способна остановить путь к новым войнам, интервенциям и разрушениям. 

Коммунистическая партия Российской Федерации настаивает:

- на безоговорочном прекращении военной агрессии США против Боливарианской Республики Венесуэла;

- на немедленном освобождении президента Николаса Мадуро и его супруги;

- на полном прекращении любого внешнего вмешательства во внутренние дела Венесуэлы;

- на международном расследовании преступных действий США с привлечением к ответственности виновных лиц;

- на принципиальной позиции и активной роли всех государств мира в защите суверенитета Венесуэлы.

Да здравствуют завоевания Боливарианской революции и наследие Уго Чавеса!

¡La agresión contra Venezuela es un crimen incondicional de los imperialistas estadounidenses!

El mundo ha sido testigo una vez más de un acto monstruoso de agresión imperialista. En las primeras horas del 3 de enero de 2026, la fuerza aérea de los Estados Unidos lanzó ataques masivos contra Caracas y otros centros de Venezuela. La residencia presidencial, el edificio de la Asamblea nacional, el mausoleo de Hugo Chávez, instalaciones militares y centros de transporte fueron atacados. Como resultado de la acción bárbara, hay muertos, incluidas mujeres y niños. Entre los objetivos de tales ataques se encuentra la desmoralización de la nación, la ruptura de su voluntad de resistir. 

Toda la destrucción y las víctimas aún no han sido contadas. Sin embargo, ya está bastante claro: el régimen de Trump está dispuesto a hacer cualquier cosa para derrocar al gobierno indeseable de un estado independiente. La larga lista de atrocidades imperialistas se ha sumado a otro crimen sangriento. Los círculos gobernantes de los Estados Unidos han demostrado una vez más al mundo su verdadera esencia. Se ha perpetrado un ataque armado contra un país cuyas autoridades se han atrevido a defender un camino de desarrollo independiente, a utilizar los recursos naturales para el desarrollo social y a aplicar políticas en favor de los trabajadores.

El ataque aéreo nocturno contra el territorio de un estado soberano fue una violación flagrante de la carta de las Naciones Unidas y las normas del derecho internacional. Hay un acto flagrante de terrorismo de estado destinado a derrocar la autoridad legítima y establecer por la fuerza un régimen títere. Tales acciones no pueden tener ninguna justificación. 

Se ha cometido un nuevo crimen sangriento contra la paz y la seguridad. Continúa las atrocidades de la política Imperial de los Estados Unidos, que ha durado décadas. Las guerras en Vietnam y Corea, los intentos de invasión a Cuba, el golpe sangriento en Chile, las tragedias de Yugoslavia, Irak, Libia, Afganistán, Siria, detrás de todas las acciones de "restablecer el orden" hay millones de víctimas: saqueados, refugiados, mutilados y muertos.

Los Estados Unidos son los principales culpables de desatar la guerra en Ucrania. Fue Washington y sus satélites europeos quienes inflamaron el maidan banderista, apoyaron a los batallones nazis, derrocaron al gobierno legítimo y prepararon los falsos acuerdos de Minsk. Ucrania fue bombeada activamente con armas e involucrada en un enfrentamiento militar con Rusia. 

Los imperialistas continúan realizando acciones para afirmar su hegemonía global. Al evaluar el ataque de Estados Unidos contra Venezuela, la jefa de la diplomacia de la UE, Callas, dijo que la Unión Europea está "siguiendo de cerca la situación" y que Maduro "no tiene suficiente legitimidad". Todo esto es un intento de jugar con Washington y cubrir la naturaleza criminal de sus acciones agresivas. 

Desde hace un cuarto de siglo, desde la victoria de Hugo Chávez en las elecciones de 1998, Venezuela ha estado atormentada por el capital global y sus agentes. Durante dos siglos, la Casa blanca se ha acostumbrado a ver a América Latina como su "patio trasero". Hablando con las ideas del "socialismo del siglo XXI", Caracas asestó un golpe tangible a las posiciones de los Estados Unidos en la región. Las reformas socioeconómicas del gobierno de izquierda en interés de las masas populares fueron para Washington un hueso en la garganta. 

El intento de estrangular la elección de las masas populares fracasó. Los venezolanos resistieron valientemente el bloqueo económico, la agresión financiera y el terror sancionador de los Estados Unidos. Su lucha se convirtió en la defensa no sólo de su propia patria. Se ha convertido en la primera línea de la resistencia antiimperialista mundial.

El capital global también se enfureció porque otros siguieron el ejemplo de Caracas. Desde entonces, los partidarios de la transformación socialista han obtenido importantes victorias y han acumulado una nueva experiencia en la administración pública en Brasil, Argentina, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador y otros países. La alianza Bolivariana del ALBA unió a los gobiernos progresistas de la región, desafiando las alianzas desiguales bajo los auspicios de Washington.

Estados Unidos no iba a liberar a América Latina de sus garras codiciosas. Todo fue en el curso: intentos de golpes de estado, sanciones crueles, apoyo descarado a la oposición de derecha. La culminación de estas acciones durante la primera presidencia de Trump fue el intento de su equipo de declarar presidente de Venezuela a su protegido Juan Guaidó. Pero la aventura fracasó. Los trabajadores no querían cambiar la independencia y las garantías sociales por las falsas quimeras de la democracia liberal. Los colaboradores, dispuestos a someter al país a intereses ajenos, fueron avergonzados. 

Apenas regresó al poder, Donald Trump reanudó su ofensiva contra Caracas. Las esperanzas de que su administración se centrara en resolver los problemas internos de los Estados Unidos resultaron ser ilusiones. El capital global necesita nuevas aventuras internacionales para mantener su hegemonía. Trump, al igual que sus predecesores, cumple diligentemente la orden de los círculos oligárquicos. En esta política se presta especial atención a América Latina. La nueva estrategia de seguridad nacional de los Estados Unidos revivió la "doctrina Monroe". Se proclama que no puede haber otros actores globales en América Latina, excepto Washington. 

La escalada del conflicto comenzó hace unos meses. La casa blanca acusó sin fundamento a los dirigentes venezolanos de complacerse con el narcotráfico. Sobre esta base extremadamente falsa, se desplegaron los preparativos para la agresión. Desde la "crisis de Panamá " de 1989, el mayor grupo militar se ha desplegado en el mar Caribe. Estados Unidos ha endurecido el bloqueo a Venezuela, exigiendo descaradamente la rendición del gobierno legítimo. 

Como antes, el pueblo venezolano se ha unido en torno a sus líderes. No fue posible lograr protestas ruidosas y un golpe de estado a manos de la oposición operetista. Al no poder imitar otra revolución de color, los círculos imperialistas pasaron a una intervención abierta. 

Un crimen monstruoso fue la captura de pandillas por parte de los militares estadounidenses del presidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, y su esposa. Hay un acto de terrorismo internacional con el secuestro de un jefe de estado soberano y un miembro de su familia, perpetrado por las fuerzas armadas de una potencia extranjera.

Especialmente preocupantes son los informes sobre la exportación de Nicolás Maduro al territorio de los Estados Unidos. Recordamos que cualquier atentado contra la vida y la libertad de un jefe de estado legalmente elegido no es solo un crimen contra una persona en particular. Se trata de un acto de guerra contra todo el país, contra los principios mismos del poder popular, la soberanía y el derecho internacional.

La agresión cometida va mucho más allá de atacar a un solo estado. Un reto para toda la región latinoamericana. Se está tratando de devolverlo por la fuerza a la era del neocolonialismo, cuando los Estados Unidos impusieron regímenes títeres a los pueblos, elevaron a los "Tronos de banano" a aventureros agradables a sí mismos, les otorgaron poderes dictatoriales. La política de Donald Trump apunta directamente a hacer retroceder a América Latina décadas, despojarla de su soberanía, conquistas sociales y perspectivas históricas.

El Comité central del PCFR condena sin reservas otra aventura militar de los Estados Unidos contra un estado independiente. Expresamos nuestra profunda solidaridad con el pueblo hermano de Venezuela, con su lucha por la independencia, con su deseo de construir una sociedad socialmente justa. ¡Las acciones criminales del ejército estadounidense no tienen y no pueden tener ninguna justificación!

Exigimos el cese inmediato e incondicional de las acciones agresivas de Washington contra un estado independiente. Subrayamos especialmente que toda la responsabilidad por la vida y la salud de Nicolás Maduro y su esposa recae en el liderazgo de los Estados Unidos. El presidente venezolano debe ser devuelto incondicionalmente a Caracas para ejercer sus funciones como jefe de estado.

Estamos convencidos de que las autoridades y todas las fuerzas políticas de Rusia deben partir de la necesidad de lograr que Washington ponga fin a la agresión imperialista. Es hora de reconocer a todos: cualquier ilusión sobre la preferencia de la actual administración de los Estados Unidos por los "demócratas globalistas" no solo es vacía, sino también peligrosa. 

Instamos a los países BRICS y a todos los Estados que abogan por un mundo multipolar a tomar medidas colectivas urgentes en defensa del derecho internacional. Consideramos necesario un debate urgente sobre el tema en el Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU. La necesidad de crear y fortalecer sistemas de seguridad colectiva que sean capaces de resistir al bloque de la OTAN y a cualquier aspirante a la hegemonía mundial es cada vez más urgente.

Pedimos a las fuerzas progresistas del planeta que se unan para resistir la invasión de Venezuela. Todos los adversarios del imperialismo, los trabajadores, los comunistas y los patriotas están llamados a actuar en un frente unido contra la nueva ola de acciones militaristas de los Estados Unidos. Hacemos un llamamiento a los partidos y movimientos de izquierda, a los sindicatos, a las organizaciones sociales, a todas las personas honestas del planeta para que desplieguen una amplia campaña de solidaridad internacional con el pueblo venezolano.

La esencia de lo que está sucediendo es obvia. Detrás de ella están los intereses del capital financiero y el complejo militar-industrial de los Estados Unidos. Quieren controlar los recursos naturales más ricos de América Latina. Estamos tratando con una clase capitalista que, a pesar de todas las diferencias internas, está unida en lo principal: en su deseo de preservar la dominación mundial y suprimir cualquier indicio de independencia. 

El imperialismo sigue siendo la principal amenaza para la paz y la seguridad de la humanidad. La agresión contra Venezuela es un eslabón natural en la cadena de acciones de los neocolonialistas. Mirar tácitamente a tales acciones significaría obtener un imperialismo aún más belicoso, rencoroso y seguro de su impunidad. Sólo la lucha unida de los pueblos contra los dictados del capital, por el socialismo, por el auténtico poder popular, puede detener el camino hacia nuevas guerras, intervenciones y destrucciones. 

El partido Comunista de la Federación rusa insiste:

- en el cese incondicional de la agresión militar de los Estados Unidos contra la República Bolivariana de Venezuela;

- en la liberación inmediata del presidente Nicolás Maduro y su esposa;

- el cese total de toda injerencia externa en los asuntos internos de Venezuela;

- en la investigación internacional de las acciones criminales de los Estados Unidos con el enjuiciamiento de los responsables;

- en la posición de principio y el papel activo de todos los Estados del mundo en la defensa de la soberanía de Venezuela.

¡Vivan las conquistas de la revolución Bolivariana y el legado de Hugo Chávez! 

¡Vergüenza para el imperialismo estadounidense y sus satélites!

¡Viva Venezuela libre y soberana!
