March 8th Manifesto: A new way of live

We live in a world that pushes us to run, to produce, to resist, often without asking ourselves how we are or what we need to live with dignity. Faced with this imposed rhythm, the need arises, and the desire, to imagine and build a new way of life: a way that does not put profit at the centre, but life. People. The links. Care.

The system educates us to produce, not to live. It teaches us that working more is worth more, that arriving late at home is normal, that not having time for the people we love is part of the game. Faced with this, we demand a new way of living: putting life at the centre, choosing to be there, choosing to take care of.

We have been told love as a story that often hurts. We have been sold romantic love as a destination, full of myths that control, silence and justify violence. But from feminism we say enough. We want to love from freedom, from respect, from ties that do not cancel us or make us smaller. We love each other differently because loving is also a political practice.

They wanted us alone, competing, surrendering, surviving. Capitalism needs tired, isolated, networkless individuals. But we know that well-being is not individual. That life can only be sustained collectively. That the community is resistance and that shared care is a tool for social transformation. Taking care is not a female instinct: it is a historically invisible, feminized and exploited work. Putting care at the centre is questioning the established order: it is to say that without life there is no system.

A new way of living also involves learning to express ourselves, to say what we feel without fear, to truly listen to us, to accompany us without imposing. In these times, with a world wounded by wars, violence, hatred and a system that dehumanizes, organizes, takes care of itself, loves and makes community is an act of rebellion.

A daily rebellion, which is cultivated, learned, worked. A rebellion that does not call alone, but does so in company.

Manifiesto 8 de marzo: Una nueva forma de vivir

Vivimos en un mundo que nos empuja a correr, a producir, a resistir, a menudo sin preguntarnos cómo estamos ni qué necesitamos para vivir con dignidad. Ante este ritmo impuesto, surge la necesidad, y el deseo, de imaginar y construir una nueva manera de vivir: una manera que no ponga el beneficio en el centro, sino la vida. Las personas. Los vínculos. Las curas.

El sistema nos educa para producir, no para vivir. Nos enseña que trabajar más es valer más, que llegar tarde a casa es normal, que no tener tiempo por la gente que estimamos forma parte del juego. Ante esto, reivindicamos una nueva manera de vivir: poner la vida en el centro, elegir estar, elegir cuidar.

Nos han explicado el amor como un cuento que a menudo hace daño. Nos han vendido el amor romántico como destino, pleno de mitos que controlan, silencian y justifican violencias. Pero desde el feminismo decimos bastante. Queremos estimar desde la libertad, desde el respeto, desde vínculos que no nos anulen ni nos hagan más pequeñas. Estimamos diferente, porque estimar también es una práctica política.

Nos han querido solas, compitiendo, rindiendo, sobreviviendo. El capitalismo necesita individuos cansados, aislados, sin red. Pero nosotros sabemos que el bienestar no es individual. Que la vida solo se aguanta en colectivo. Que la comunidad es resistencia y que las curas compartidas son una herramienta de transformación social. Cuidar no es un instinto femenino: es un trabajo históricamente invisibilizado, feminizado y explotado. Poner los cuidados en el centro es cuestionar el orden establecido: es decir que sin vida no hay sistema.

Una nueva manera de vivir también pasa por aprender a expresarnos, a decir lo que sentimos sin miedo, a escucharnos de verdad, a acompañarnos sin imponer. En los tiempos que corren, con un mundo herido por las guerras, la violencia, el odio y un sistema que deshumaniza, organizarse, cuidarse, estimar y hacer comunidad es un acto de rebeldía.

Una rebeldía cotidiana, que se cultiva, que se aprende, que se trabaja. Una rebeldía que no grita sola, sino que lo hace en compañía.

Desde Comunistas de Cataluña, la Fundación Neus Català, Esquerra Unida y Alternativa y el Consejo de Redacción del Realiyay nos adherimos a todas las convocatorias y movilizaciones organizadas por la Asamblea 8M en todo el territorio.
