Criminal attacks by the US and Israel on Iran

The New Communist Party of the Netherlands (NCPN) condemns this morning's American and Israeli air strikes on Iran and expresses its solidarity with the Iranian people and the peoples of the region who are being dragged into an ever-escalating military conflict.

Concerns about the freedom of the Iranian people under the reactionary regime are being used as a false pretext by the US and Israel, which themselves act brutally against protest in their own countries and have committed countless war crimes. This war has nothing to do with the interests of the people in the region, but with the conflicting interests of international monopolies fighting for control of raw materials, markets, transport routes and geopolitical spheres of influence.

We therefore condemn the hypocritical attitude of the Dutch cabinet, which repeats the American pretexts and war propaganda and thus justifies these criminal attacks. The Jetten cabinet is thus showing that it is continuing the same dangerous foreign policy as its predecessors.

Every people has the right to determine its own future, without outside interference.

The NCPN says no to imperialist war and yes to peace and international solidarity!
