Declaration of the Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism (PADS) 

Against Imperialist Aggression: Full Solidarity with the Venezuelan People 

The Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism (PADS) strongly condemns the aggressive military attack on Venezuela carried out by the U.S. administration on the night of January 2–3, 2026, and also denounces the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro. 

This blatant aggression once again confirms the inherently predatory, aggressive, and reactionary nature of U.S. imperialism, which, amid the deepening general crisis of the capitalist system and the intensification of imperialist contradictions—especially in confrontation with its rivals Russia and China—does not hesitate to resort to open war, blackmail, and the use of military force to defend its interests and to seek to preserve its economic, political, and geopolitical dominance. This attack falls entirely within the framework of its strategy aimed at controlling the natural resources and the vast oil reserves with which Venezuela abounds, and at reshaping the region in a manner that serves its geopolitical interests. 

Amidst this barbaric and arrogant aggression, international tensions are sliding into an even more dangerous phase, putting the peace of the region and the world at risk, and threatening the stability of peoples everywhere, thus revealing the aggressive and chaotic nature of modern imperialism. 

The Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism also strongly condemns the false pretexts promoted by the U.S. administration, whether under the guise of combating drug trafficking or the alleged “terrorism.” These claims serve only to conceal a criminal policy based on interference, sabotage, and ruthless imperialist violence. 

The Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism expresses its unconditional, and militant solidarity with the Venezuelan Communist Party (PCV), the working class, and the Venezuelan people in their resistance to imperialist aggression and their ongoing struggle to defend their national independence and sovereignty. It also reaffirms the Party’s unwavering support for our comrades, who are courageously engaged in class struggle against imperialism, capitalist exploitation, monopolies, and all forms of bourgeois domination. 

The Algerian Party for Democracy and Socialism reiterates that only the Venezuelan people have the legitimacy to determine their political, economic, and social future, without any foreign interference or dictates from imperialist powers or their local agents.

بيان الحزب الجزائري من أجل الديمقراطية والاشتراكية ضدّ العدوان الإمبريالي: تضامنٌ كامل مع الشعب الفنزويلي

يدين الحزب الجزائري من أجل الديمقراطية والاشتراكية (PADS) بأشدّ العبارات الهجوم العدواني العسكري الإمبريالي على فنزويلا، الذي أعلنته الإدارة الأمريكية في ليلة 2 إلى 3 جانفي 2026، كما يدين عمليةَ اختطاف الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو.

إنّ هذا العدوان السافر يؤكّد، مرةً أخرى، الطابعَ الجوهرِيَّ المفترسَ والعدوانيَّ والرجعيَّ للإمبريالية الأمريكية، التي، في ظلّ تعمّق الأزمة العامة للنظام الرأسمالي واحتدام التناقضات الإمبريالية، ولا سيّما في مواجهة  منافسيها روسيا والصين، لا تتردّد في اللجوء إلى الحرب المفتوحة والابتزاز واستخدام العنف العسكري دفاعًا عن مصالحها وسعيًا للحفاظ على هيمنتها الاقتصادية والسياسية والجيوسياسية. ويندرج هذا الهجوم بالكامل ضمن إطار استراتيجيتها الرامية إلى السيطرة على الثروات الطبيعية و الإحتياطات النفطية الهائلة التي تزخر بها فنزويلا، وإعادة ترتيب المنطقة بما يخدم مصالحها الجيوسياسية

و في ظل هذا العدوان الهمجي المتغطرس، تتدحرج التوترات الدولية نحو مرحلة أشدّ خطورة وتصعيدًا، ما يجعل سلام المنطقة و العالم في خطر، ويهدد استقرار شعوب العالم كافة، كاشفا عن الطبيعة العدوانية والفوضوية للإمبريالية الحديثة.

و يُدين الحزب الجزائري من أجل الديمقراطية والاشتراكية بقوّة الذرائع الكاذبة التي تسوقها الإدارة الأمريكية، سواء تعلّق الأمر بما يُسمّى مكافحة الاتجار بالمخدرات أو «الإرهاب» المزعوم. فهذه الاتهامات الزائفة لا تهدف سوى إلى التستّر على سياسةٍ إجرامية قائمة على التدخّل والتخريب والعنف الإمبريالي الغاشم.

ويُعبّر الحزب الجزائري من أجل الديمقراطية والاشتراكية عن تضامنه الكامل وغير المشروط والنضالي مع الحزب الشيوعي الفنزويلي (PCV)، ومع الطبقة العاملة والشعب الفنزويلي، في مقاومتهم للعدوان الإمبريالي ونضالهم المستمر للدفاع عن استقلالهم الوطني وسيادتهم. كما يؤكّد الحزب دعمه الثابت لرفاقنا ، الذين يخوضون نضالًا طبقيًا شجاعًا ضدّ الإمبريالية، والاستغلال الرأسمالي، والاحتكارات، وكل أشكال الهيمنة البرجوازية.

ويُجدّد الحزب الجزائري من أجل الديمقراطية والاشتراكية تأكيده على أنّ الشعب الفنزويلي وحده، هو صاحب الشرعية الوحيدة في تقرير مستقبله السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي، دون أيّ تدخّل أجنبي أو إملاءات من القوى الإمبريالية، أيًّا كانت، ومن وكلائها المحليين.
