Statement from the Sudanese Communist Party Stop the Imperialist Zionist Aggression Against Iran

The Sudanese Communist Party condemns in the strongest and clearest terms the imperialist Zionist aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran, and considers it a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an independent state, and a dangerous military escalation that threatens regional and international peace and security. Resorting to military force outside the framework of international legitimacy, targeting civilian facilities, and engaging in assassinations and systematic sabotage constitute flagrant breaches of international humanitarian law, and entrench the logic of domination instead of the rule of law.

This aggression is not an isolated incident, but comes within the context of ongoing policies aimed at imposing will by force, consolidating Zionist military superiority, and reshaping the region to serve the strategic interests of imperialism, at the expense of the independence of its peoples and their right to self determination. It is an escalation that opens the door to a widening conflict and places the peoples of the region before the dangers of a broad war that serves only the forces of domination and the arms industry complexes.

The Party declares its full solidarity with the Iranian people and with its national and democratic forces, foremost among them the Tudeh Party of Iran, and affirms their legitimate right to defend national sovereignty in the face of this brutal aggression.

At the same time, the Party affirms its categorical rejection of turning the territory or airspace of any country in the region into platforms for waging wars or facilitating aggression. The use of countries’ land or airspace in conflicts that serve hegemonic projects constitutes an infringement of national sovereignty and exposes the peoples of the region to grave dangers. Expanding military responses in ways that affect the security of other states will only deepen the cycle of war, threatening the stability of the entire region.

The Party holds the imperialist Zionist aggressor forces fully responsible for this escalation, and rejects international positions that equate the aggressor with the victim under general slogans such as de escalation, without clearly naming the aggression and its source. Such false neutrality entrenches a policy of impunity and weakens the international legal order.

The Party renews its call for the Middle East to be free of weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons, without exception or double standards, and on the basis of equal respect for the sovereignty of states and the rights of their peoples.

Resistance to aggression and domination is a legitimate right of peoples, and both a national and international duty. The path to a just and lasting peace does not lie through bombing and destruction, nor through the imposition of faits accomplis by force, but through ending policies of occupation and domination, respecting national sovereignty, and enabling the peoples of the region to build their future on the foundations of freedom, independent development, and social justice.

 *أوقفوا العدوان الإمبريالي–الصهيوني على إيران*

يدين الحزب الشيوعي السوداني بأشد وأوضح العبارات العدوان الإمبريالي–الصهيوني الذي استهدف الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، ويعتبره انتهاكًا صارخًا لسيادة دولة مستقلة، وتصعيدًا عسكريًا خطيرًا يهدد الأمن والسلم الإقليميين والدوليين. إن اللجوء إلى القوة العسكرية خارج إطار الشرعية الدولية، واستهداف المنشآت المدنية، وممارسة الاغتيالات والتخريب المنهجي، يشكّل خرقًا فاضحًا للقانون الدولي الإنساني، ويكرّس منطق الهيمنة بدل منطق القانون.

إن هذا العدوان ليس حادثةً معزولة، بل يأتي في سياق سياسات متواصلة تسعى إلى فرض الإرادة بالقوة، وتكريس التفوق العسكري الصهيوني، وإعادة تشكيل أوضاع المنطقة بما يخدم المصالح الاستراتيجية للإمبريالية، على حساب استقلال شعوبها وحقها في تقرير مصيرها. وهو تصعيد يفتح الباب أمام اتساع رقعة الصراع، ويضع شعوب المنطقة أمام مخاطر حربٍ واسعة لا تخدم سوى قوى الهيمنة ومجمّعات السلاح.

ويُعلن الحزب تضامنه الكامل مع الشعب الإيراني، ومع قواه الوطنية والديمقراطية، وفي مقدمتها حزب توده الإيراني، ويؤكد حقه المشروع في الدفاع عن سيادته الوطنية في مواجهة هذا العدوان الغاشم.

وفي الوقت ذاته، يؤكد الحزب رفضه القاطع تحويل أراضي أو أجواء أي دولة في المنطقة إلى منصات لإدارة الحروب أو تسهيل العدوان. إن استخدام أراضي البلدان أو أجوائها في صراعات تخدم مشاريع الهيمنة يُعد انتقاصًا من السيادة الوطنية، ويعرّض شعوب المنطقة لمخاطر جسيمة. كما أن توسيع الردود العسكرية بما يمس أمن دول أخرى لن يؤدي إلا إلى تعميق دوامة الحرب، وهو ما يهدد استقرار المنطقة بأسرها.

ويحمّل الحزب قوى العدوان الإمبريالي–الصهيوني المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا التصعيد، ويرفض المواقف الدولية التي تساوي بين المعتدي والمعتدى عليه تحت شعارات عامة حول “خفض التوتر”، دون تسمية واضحة للعدوان ومصدره، إذ إن هذا الحياد الزائف يكرّس سياسة الإفلات من العقاب ويُضعف المنظومة القانونية الدولية.

ويُجدد الحزب موقفه الداعي إلى إخلاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط من أسلحة الدمار الشامل، بما في ذلك السلاح النووي، دون استثناء أو ازدواجية معايير، وعلى أساس احترام متكافئ لسيادة الدول وحقوق شعوبها.

إن مقاومة العدوان والهيمنة حق مشروع للشعوب، وواجب وطني وأممي في آنٍ واحد. فالطريق إلى السلام العادل والدائم لا يمر عبر القصف والتدمير، ولا عبر فرض الأمر الواقع بالقوة، بل عبر إنهاء سياسات الاحتلال والهيمنة، واحترام السيادة الوطنية، وتمكين شعوب المنطقة من بناء مستقبلها على أساس الحرية والتنمية المستقلة والعدالة الاجتماعية.
