Athens Builders’ Union: For a better tomorrow, free from exploitation, wars, poverty and refugees

“We will not compromise with a world full of injustice! Our art, our songs and our collective organized struggle go beyond borders, languages and religions. They become weapons of resistance and disobedience; they offer a glimpse of hope; they give us the determination to see our struggle through to the end. We struggle for a better tomorrow, free from exploitation, wars, poverty and refugees!”, emphasized Pavlos Alexandrakis, general secretary of the Athens Builders’ Union, at the concert held on 3 September 2025, with the band “Koinoi Thnitoi” (Common Mortals), organized by the union.

P. Alexandrakis criticized the government’s despicable bill on the 13-hour working day and more flexible labour relations. “We are people, not machines. We have families, friends, social activities, and we want to live our lives to the fullest, not be turned into mere cogs in the wheel of wage slavery (...) We are drawing strength from today’s event and we are strengthening our struggle for wage increases and reduced working hours”, he noted, calling on every worker to contribute to “the preparation for a mass and militant strike in every workplace and sector, across the country”.

He extended a special greeting to migrants and refugees, conveying the Union's commitment to stand with them “in the struggle to repeal the law passed by the government, implementing the reactionary EU Pact on Migration and Asylum”. “We builders know all these wretched of the earth! They are our brothers and sisters; we are all children of the same mother, regardless of colour, nationality, religion or language,” he emphasized, adding: "We all have a common enemy: the bosses and their state. We will not let them divide, intimidate, oppress or silence us!”.

With the colours of the Palestinian flag filling the Petras Theatre, P. Alexandrakis condemned the brutality inflicted on the long-suffering Palestinian people by the murderous state of Israel, which has been ongoing for about two years, with the full support of the US, NATO and the EU. “We stand with Palestine until freedom prevails!”, he declared, welcoming the solidarity demonstrations being organized around the world.

A delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece, as well as the Palestinian ambassador to Athens attended the concert.

 «Мы не смиримся с жизнью полной несправедливости! Искусство, песни, наша коллективная организованная борьба не знают границ, языков и религий. Они становятся оружием сопротивления и неповиновения, глотком надежды, упорным стремлением довести нашу борьбу до конца. Борьбу за лучшее будущее без эксплуатации, войн, нищеты и беженцев!» - подчеркнул генсек Профсоюза строителей Афин Павлос Александракис на концерте группы «Простые смертные», организованном 3 сентября этим профсоюзом.

П.Александракис упомянул о мерзком законопроекте правительства, предусматривающем 13-часовой рабочий день и большую гибкость в трудовых отношениях. «Мы люди, а не машины, у нас есть семьи, друзья, общественная деятельность, и мы хотим прожить свою жизнь со всеми ее радостями, а не превратиться в простые атрибуты наемного рабства».(…) Мы черпаем энергию из сегодняшнего мероприятия и усиливаем нашу борьбу за повышение зарплат и сокращение продолжительности рабочего времени», - отметил он, призвав каждого работника вносить свой вклад в усиление боевого, забастовочного движения на каждом рабочем месте, в каждой отрасли, по всей стране».

Он обратился с особым приветствием к мигрантам и беженцам, заявив о готовности профсоюза быть вместе с ними «в борьбе за то, чтобы сделать бесполезным закон, принятый правительством, которое реализует реакционный Пакт ЕС о миграции и предоставлении убежища». «Мы, строители, хорошо знаем «проклятьем заклейменный, весь мир голодных и рабов»! Они наши братья, все мы дети одной матери, независимо от цвета кожи, национальности, религии и языка», - подчеркнул он и добавил: «У нас с вами общий враг — хозяева и их государство. Мы не позволим им разобщить нас, запугать, усмирить и заставить замолчать!»

 В театре «Петра», подсвеченном цветами палестинского флага, П. Александракис осудил зверства в отношении многострадального палестинского народа, совершаемые вот уже около двух лет государством-убийцей Израилем при полной поддержке США, НАТО и ЕС. «Мы с Палестиной! Свободу Палестине!» - скандировал он, приветствуя акции солидарности, проходящие по всему миру. На концерте присутствовала делегация ЦК КПГ, а также посол Палестины в Афинах.

Sindicato de Constructores de Atenas: Por un futuro mejor sin explotación, guerras, pobreza y refugiados

“¡No nos conformamos con un mundo lleno de injusticias! Nuestro arte, nuestras canciones, nuestra lucha colectiva y organizada traspasan fronteras, idiomas y religiones. Se convierten en armas de resistencia y desobediencia, se convierten en un soplo de esperanza, se convierten en la obstinación de llevar nuestra lucha hasta el final. ¡Por un futuro mejor sin explotación, guerras, pobreza y refugiados!”,destacó Pavlos Alexandrakis, secretario general del Sindicato de Constructores de Atenas, en el concierto con el grupo “Koinoi Thnitoi” organizado por el sindicato el 3/9/25.

P. Alexandrakis se refirió al atroz proyecto de ley del gobierno sobre la jornada laboral de 13 horas y la mayor flexibilización de las relaciones laborales. “Somos personas, no máquinas, tenemos familias, amigos, actividades sociales y queremos vivir nuestra vida con todas sus alegrías y no convertirnos en simples engranajes de la esclavitud asalariada (...) Sacamos fuerza de este evento y fortalecemos nuestra lucha por el aumento de los salarios y la reducción de las horas de trabajo”, señaló, y pidió a todos los trabajadores que contribuyan a reforzar “las iniciativas militantes para la preparación de la huelga en cada centro de trabajo, en cada sector, en todo el país”.

Dirigió un saludo especial a los inmigrantes y refugiados, transmitiéndoles el compromiso del sindicato de estar junto a ellos “en la lucha por invalidar la ley aprobada por el gobierno, que aplica el reaccionario Pacto de la UE sobre migración y asilo”, y añadió: “¡Todos esos 'parias de la Tierra', nosotros, los constructores, los conocemos bien! Somos hermanos, todos somos hijos de una misma madre, independientemente del color o la nacionalidad. ¡A todos esos 'parias de la Tierra' los conocemos bien nosotros, los constructores! Son nuestros hermanos, todos somos hijos de una misma madre, independientemente del color, la nacionalidad, la religión y el idioma” destacó y añadió: “Para todos nosotros, el enemigo es común, los patrones y su Estado, ¡no dejaremos que nos dividan, que nos aterroricen, que nos repriman y que nos silencien!”.

Con los colores de la bandera de Palestina en el Teatro Petras, P. Alexandrakis condenó la barbarie que lleva cometiendo desde hace aproximadamente dos años el Estado asesino de Israel, con el pleno apoyo de EE. UU., la OTAN y la UE, a costa del sufrido pueblo palestino. “¡Con Palestina hasta la libertad!”, repitió y saludó las movilizaciones de solidaridad que se organizan en todo el mundo.

En el concierto, estuvieron presentes una delegación del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Grecia y el embajador de Palestina en Atenas.

نقابة أثينا لعمال البناء: من أجل غدٍ أفضل خالٍ من الاستغلال والحروب والفقر واللجوء

«إننا لا نتصالحُ مع عالمٍ مليءٍ بالظلم! إن فننا، وأغنيتنا، ونضالنا الجماعي المنظم، يتجاوز الحدود واللغات والأديان. و يغدو سلاح مقاومة وعصيان، و مصدر أمل، و عنادٍ لكي نصل بكفاحنا حتى النهاية. من أجل غدٍ أفضل خالٍ من الاستغلال والحروب والفقر واللجوء»، هذا ما أكَّدَ عليه بافلوس ألكسندراكيس، الأمين العام لنقابة أثينا لعمال البناء خلال الحفل الموسيقي الذي نظمته النقابة يوم 3\9\2025 2025 مع فرقة "كيني ثنيتي".

ضمن كلمته تطرَّق بافلوس ألكسندراكيس إلى مشروع قانون الحكومة المسخ الذي ينصُّ على اعتمادِ يوم العمل ﻠ 13 ساعة، ويزيد من مطاطية علاقات العمل، مسجِّلاً: «نحن بشرٌ ولسنا آلات، لنا عائلات وأصدقاء وأنشطة اجتماعية، ونريد أن نعيش حياتنا بكل ما فيها من مباهج، لا أن نتحول إلى مجرد أدواتٍ للعبودية المأجورة (...) إننا نستمد القوة أيضاً من فعالية اليوم ونعزز صراعنا من أجل زيادة الأجور وتخفيض ساعات العمل» ودعا كل عامل إلى الإسهام من أجل تعزيز « تيار إضراب كفاحي عظيم، في كل موقع عمل وفي كل قطاع في سائر أنحاء البلاد».

ووجه تحية خاصة للمهاجرين واللاجئين، معرباً عن التزام النقابة بالوقوف معهم «في النضال لإبطال القانون الذي أقرته الحكومة، تطبيقاً منها لميثاق الاتحاد الأوروبي الرجعي بشأن الهجرة واللجوء»، وأضاف: « نحن عمالُ البناء نعرف كل هؤلاء "مساكين الأرض" جيدًا! إنهم إخواننا، نحن جميعاً أبناء أم مشتركة بمعزل عن لوننا أو قوميتنا أو ديننا و لغتنا». و أكد: «بالنسبة لنا جميعاً، فالعدو مشترك، اﻷسيادُ و دولتهم، ولن نتركهم يفرقونا أو يرهبونا أو يقمعونا أو يكمّوا أفواهنا!».

و في حين ملأت ألوانُ العلم الفلسطيني مسرح بِترا، أدان بافلوس ألكسندراكيس الفظائع التي ترتكبها دولة إسرائيل القاتلة منذ نحو عامين، بدعم كامل من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحلف شمال الأطلسي والاتحاد الأوروبي، بحق الشعب الفلسطيني الشديد المعاناة. وكرر الهتاف: "الحريةُ لِفلسطين!" محيياً تحركات التضامن المُنظمة في كل العالم.

هذا وحضر الحفل وفد للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، بالإضافة إلى سفير فلسطين في أثينا.
