D. Koutsoumbas:
It is not in the people’s interest to shed their blood for the interests of the ruling class

On 2 October 2025, during the plenary session of the Greek Parliament, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), took the floor during the debate on the procurement of the fourth Belharra frigate.

He began his speech by noting that this debate was taking place in the aftermath of the mass general strike on 1 October, when workers and the people sent a clear message that the bill on 13-hour working day slavery belongs in the dustbin, and that is where it will end up.

Regarding the procurement of the frigate, he noted that it is part of the government’s policy which serves the imperialist plans and operations of the USA-NATO-EU rather than the country’s sovereign rights. “You are no longer talking about defending the country’s sovereign rights, but national interests. In a class-divided society, these are the interests of the ruling class, the elite and the robbers of the wealth produced by the people”, he noted. “They may have interests in either the Red Sea or the Pacific Ocean, but the people have no interest in shedding their blood for foreign interests”, he emphasized, referring to the presence of the Greek frigate already in the Red Sea to support the murderous state of Israel and protect the interests of Greek shipowners.

The GS of the CC of the KKE also highlighted reports that the government has already decided that the first major mission of the new frigate “Kimon” will be in the Pacific Ocean, accompanying one of the US aircraft carriers as part of a major drill. He noted that the KKE has submitted a relevant question to Parliament and that the government has not yet responded or denied it.

D. Koutsoumbas denounced the Greek government’s responsibility for supporting the murderous state of Israel. He concluded that real progress in the 21^st century means people and workers living as they should, based on advances in technology and science, and not as slaves.

Народу не стоит проливать кровь за интересы правящего класса

2 октября 2025 года на пленарном заседании греческого парламента при обсуждении вопроса о закупке четвертого фрегата типа «Belharra» выступил Генсек ЦК КПГ Димитрис Куцумбас.

В начале своего выступления он сказал, что это обсуждение проходит на фоне прошедшей  1 октября всеобщей забастовки, где трудящиеся, молодежь и народ в целом дали ясно понять, что место законопроекта о 13-часовом рабстве - на свалке, и именно туда они его отправят.

Относительно закупки фрегата он отметил, что она является частью политики правительства, обслуживающей империалистические планы и военные операции США-НАТО-ЕС и никоим образом не защищающей суверенные права страны.

 «Вы говорите не о защите суверенных прав страны, а о защите национальных интересов. В обществе, разделенном на классы, они являются интересами правящего класса, элиты, расхитителей богатства, произведенного народом», — сказал он. «У них могут быть интересы как в Красном море, так и в Тихом океане, но народу не стоит проливать кровь за чуждые ему интересы», — подчеркнул он, сославшись на присутствие греческого фрегата в Красном море, находящегося там с целью поддержки государства-убийцы Израиля и защиты интересов греческих судовладельцев.

Генсек ЦК КПГ также коснулся публикаций, в которых говорится о решении правительства отправить новый фрегат «Кимон» в первую большую экспедицию в Тихий океан, который будет сопровождать один из американских авианосцев в рамках крупных учений.Он отметил, что КПГ направила вопрос, касающийся данной информации, в парламент, правительство пока не ответило на него, но и не опровергло информацию.

Д. Куцумбас возложил ответственность на правительство Греции за поддержку, которую оно оказывает государству-убийце Израилю, отметив в заключение, что настоящий прогресс в наше время – это когда народ, трудящиеся будут жить в 21 веке подобающим образом на основе развития науки и техники, а не как рабы.

D. Koutsoumpas:
El pueblo no tiene ningún interés en derramar sangre por los intereses de la clase dominante

Durante el debate sobre la adquisición de la cuarta fragata “Belharra”, celebrado el 2/10/25 en el Pleno del Parlamento, intervino el Secretario General del Comité Central del KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumpas. Al comenzar su discurso, señaló que este debate se produce tras la gran huelga general del 1 de octubre, cuando trabajadores, jóvenes y el pueblo en su conjunto enviaron el mensaje claro de que la propuesta de ley sobre la esclavitud de la jornada laboral de 13 horas es solo para la basura y que allí la enviarán.

Respecto a la adquisición de la fragata, señaló que forma parte de la política gubernamental que favorece los planes y operaciones imperialistas de EE.UU., la OTAN y la UE, y de ninguna manera los derechos soberanos del país. "Ya no se trata de defender los derechos soberanos del país, sino los intereses nacionales, que en una sociedad dividida en clases son los intereses de la clase dominante, la élite, los ladrones de la riqueza producida por el pueblo", señaló. "Pueden tener intereses tanto en el mar Rojo como en el Pacífico, pero al pueblo no le interesa derramar su sangre por intereses ajenos", subrayó, refiriéndose a la presencia de la fragata griega que ya se encuentra en el mar Rojo para apoyar al Estado asesino de Israel y proteger los intereses de los armadores griegos.

El Secretario General del CC del KKE también destacó las noticias publicadas que afirman que el gobierno ya ha decidido que la primera gran misión de la nueva fragata "Kimon" será en el Océano Pacífico, acompañando a un portaviones, uno de los buques de guerra estadounidenses, en el marco de un importante ejercicio. Señaló que el KKE ha presentado una pregunta pertinente al Parlamento, mientras que el gobierno aún no la ha respondido ni desmentido.

D. Koutsoumpas denunció las responsabilidades del gobierno griego por el apoyo que brinda al Estado asesino de Israel, concluyendo que el verdadero progreso de nuestro tiempo reside en que el pueblo y los trabajadores vivan acorde al siglo XXI, en base ​​al desarrollo de la tecnología y la ciencia, y no como esclavos.

ذيميتريس كوتسوباس: ليس للشعب مصلحة في النزيف من أجل مصالح الطبقة الحاكمة

خلال نقاش شراء فرقاطة رابعة من طراز "بِلهارا"، الذي عُقد في الجلسة العامة للبرلمان يوم 2\10\2025، تحدث الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني، ذيميتريس كوتسوباس.

سجَّل في استهلال حديثه أن هذا النقاش يأتي بعد صدى الإضراب العمالي الكبير في الأول من تشرين اﻷول\أكتوبر، حيث بعث العمال والشباب والشعب إجمالاً رسالة واضحة مفادها أن مكان مشروع قانون العبودية للعمل يومياً 13 ساعة ليس إلا سلة المهملات، و أن الشعب سيرميه هناك.

و سجَّل فيما يتعلق بشراء الفرقاطة، أن ذلك ينضوي ضمن سياسة الحكومة التي تخدم الخطط والعمليات الإمبريالية للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحلف شمال الأطلسي والاتحاد الأوروبي، ولا تمت بأي حال من الأحوال إلى الحقوق السيادية للبلاد.

وأضاف: «لم نعد نتحدث عن الدفاع عن الحقوق السيادية للبلاد، بل عن مصالح وطنية، التي تمثل في مجتمع مقسم طبقياً مصالح الطبقة الحاكمة والنخبة، مصالح ناهبي الثروة التي يُنتجها الشعب». و أكَّد: «قد تكون لهؤلاء مصالح إما في البحر الأحمر أو في المحيط الهادئ، لكن ما من مصلحة للشعب في النزيف و إراقة دمه من أجل مصالح غريبة». و تطرَّق إلى وجود الفرقاطة اليونانية سلفاً في البحر الأحمر من أجل دعم دولة إسرائيل المجرمة وحماية مصالح مالكي السفن اليونانيين.

كما و أضاء الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي اليوناني على ما يُنشرُ و مفاده بأن الحكومة قد قررت سلفاً أن تكون وِجهة أول مهمة كبيرة للفرقاطة الجديدة "كيمون" في المحيط الهادئ، حيث سترافق إحدى حاملات الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية، في سياق مناورة كبيرة. و سجَّل أن الحزب الشيوعي اليوناني قد قدم سؤالاً ذي صلة إلى البرلمان، بينما لم تُجب الحكومة عليه أو تنفي ذلك اﻷمر بعد.

هذا و استنكر ذيميتريس كوتسوباس مسؤوليات الحكومة اليونانية تجاه دعمها لدولة إسرائيل القاتلة، وخلُص إلى أن التقدم الفعلي في عصرنا يكمن في أن يعيش الشعب والعمال كما يليقُ بالقرن اﻟ21، على أساس تطور التكنولوجيا والعلوم، لا كالعبيد.
