Mr. Trump Cannot Mask U.S. Imperialism Behind Empty Words on Israel’s Aggression

The Communist Party of Pakistan assert with certainty that recent remarks and “condemnation” of Mr. Donald Trump regarding Israel’s attack on Qatar are void, hypocritical, and now utterly worthless. The peoples of the world know full well that U.S. imperialism, under the command of both Democrats and Republicans, has always been the shield and sword of Zionist aggression.

It was Mr. Trump himself who carried out some of the most reactionary measures in support of Zionism, recognizing Jerusalem as the so-called capital of Israel, encouraging the theft of Palestinian lands through illegal settlements, and tying U.S. imperialism ever more tightly to the war machine of Tel Aviv. For such a man to now speak against Israeli aggression is not only hypocrisy, it is a calculated deception meant to pacify the masses and disguise the role of imperialism.

Israel’s attack is a continuation of the imperialist-Zionist plan that has ravaged Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The Zionist state is nothing but a forward base of imperialism in the Middle East, nourished, armed, and defended by Washington. Therefore, the words of Mr. Trump and all representatives of the imperialist bourgeoisie are empty, they cannot and will not halt aggression, because aggression is born of the very system they defend.

The Communist Party of Pakistan declares that salvation will not come through the empty phrases of imperialist leaders, but through the revolutionary unity of the working class and oppressed peoples. The working and peace loving peoples of Palestine, Qatar, and the entire Arab world must strengthen their struggle against global Capitalism-Imperialism, hand in hand with the working class of all countries.
