Anti-communist plan continues: Government-PSUV tries to co-opt PCV members and organisms with money and threats

Caracas, 08-11-2023 (TP Newsroom) - The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) denounced this Monday before the public opinion a new phase of the aggression maintained by the leadership of the Government of Nicolás Maduro and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) aimed at "neutralizing the political action of the legitimate leadership elected by the Venezuelan communists". 

"The Government and the PSUV are employing various mechanisms ranging from economic offers to threats, either veiled or open, with the aim of co-opting members, middle or grassroots structures of the PCV; of co-opting them for their plan of subordination of the workers vanguard to their anti-working class and anti-popular policies," warned Neirlay Andrade during a press conference. 

"From the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Venezuela we want to call on our membership to remain vigilant in the face of these new maneuvers," added the leader. 

The PCV ratified once again that it "will not bend" in the face of this siege against the organization that reached its highest point last August when, by orders of the government of Nicolás Maduro, the Supreme Court of Justice snatched the legal personality from the legitimate leadership of the PCV to hand it over to a handful of political operators of the PSUV. 

"We are and will continue to be consistent with our line of confrontation with a policy that has given in to the interests of big capital and that pretends nothing else than to unload all the weight of the capitalist crisis, all the weight of the unilateral coercive measures of imperialism, all the weight of a failed economic policy, on the shoulders of the working women and men," Andrade affirmed.

Communist and Workers Parties back legitimate leadership of the PCV

"Of course, at the international level, nobody believes that the parapet organized by the Supreme Court of Justice, at the request of the Government, is the legitimate leadership of the PCV and we have received proof of this during the last weeks", said the member of the Political Bureau. 

Andrade informed that almost three months after the judicial assault, the TSJ has refused to deliver the certified copies of the files of this process "which was clearly a violation of the rule of law". 

The usurpation of the leadership of the PCV was the subject of discussion at the most recent International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties (EIPCO), held in Turkey. There, most of the organizations subscribed to a pronouncement with three key points, explained Andrade: 

"The first of them is solidarity with the struggles of the Venezuelan workers and working class that is currently facing a harsh offensive of capital against their rights. Secondly, the unrestricted defense and solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela. The International Communist Movement has publicly requested the Supreme Court of Justice to revoke the infamous sentence 1,160 and to restore the political rights of the PCV. But in addition, the workers' parties of the whole world have told imperialism: enough of attacking the Venezuelan people!” 

After the IMCWP, a delegation of the PCV carried out an important work agenda in Italy, Germany, France and Spain. 

"In this tour it was made known what is the true reality of the Venezuelan working class and what the popular sectors are facing in our country," detailed Andrade.

"It was also a propitious moment to receive the embrace and support of numerous organizations that have made it clear that they do not recognize any other group; much less one imposed by the bourgeois government in power," she added.

Caracas, 08-11-2023 (Redacción TP).- El Buró Político del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV) denunció este lunes ante la opinión pública una nueva fase de la agresión que mantiene la cúpula el Gobierno de Nicolás Maduro y el Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) dirigida a “neutralizar la acción política de la legítima dirección electa por las y los comunistas venezolanos”. 

“El Gobierno y el PSUV están empleando diversos mecanismos que van desde ofrecimientos económicos hasta amenazas, bien sea veladas o abiertas, con el objetivo de cooptar militantes, estructuras medias o de base del PCV; de cooptar os para su plan de subordinación de la vanguardia obrera a su política antiobrera y antipopular”, alertó Neirlay Andrade durante una declaración de prensa. 

“Desde el Buró Político del Partido Comunista de Venezuela queremos hacer un llamado a nuestra militancia a mantenerse vigilantes ante estas nuevas maniobras”, añadió la dirigente. 

El PCV ratificó una vez más que “no se doblegará” ante este asedio contra la organización que tuvo su punto más álgido el pasado mes de agosto cuando por órdenes del gobierno de Nicolás Maduro, el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia arrebató la personalidad jurídica a la legítima dirección del Gallo Rojo para entregársela a un puñado de operadores políticos del PSUV. 

“Somos y seguiremos siendo consecuentes con nuestra línea de confrontación con una política que ha claudicado en favor de los intereses del gran capital y que pretende no otra cosa que descargar todo el peso de la crisis capitalista, todo el peso de las medidas coercitivas unilaterales del imperialismo, todo el peso de una fracasada política económica, sobre los hombros de las trabajadoras y de los trabajadores”, afirmó Andrade.

Partidos Comunistas y Obreros respaldan dirección legítima del PCV

“Por supuesto que a nivel internacional nadie se cree que el parapeto organizado por el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia, a solicitud del Gobierno, sea la legítima dirección del PCV y hemos recibido pruebas de ello durante las últimas semanas”, dijo la integrante del Buró Político. 

Andrade informó que ya a casi tres meses del asalto judicial, el TSJ se ha negado a entregar las copias certificadas de los expedientes de este proceso «que fue a todas luces violatorio del Estado de derecho”. 

La usurpación de la dirección del PCV fue tema de discusión en el más reciente Encuentro Internacional de Partidos Comunistas y Obreros (EIPCO), celebrado en Turquía. Allí, la mayoría de las organizaciones suscribieron un pronunciamiento con tres puntos clave, explicó Andrade: 

“El primero de ellos solidaridad con las luchas de la clase obrera y trabajadora venezolana que enfrenta en estos momentos una dura ofensiva del capital contra sus derechos. En segundo lugar, la defensa irrestricta y la solidaridad con el Partido Comunista de Venezuela. El Movimiento Comunista Internacional ha solicitado públicamente al Tribunal Supremo de Justicia que revoque la infame sentencia 1.160 y que le restituya los derechos políticos al PCV. Pero además, los partidos obreros de todo el mundo han dicho al imperialismo ¡basta de agredir al pueblo venezolano!”. 

Tras el EIPCO, una delegación del PCV llevó acabo una importante agenda de trabajo en Italia, Alemania, Francia y España.

“En esta gira se dio a conocer cuál es la verdadera realidad de la clase trabajadora venezolana y qué están enfrentando los sectores populares en nuestro país”, detalló Andrade. 

“También fue un momento propicio para recibir el abrazo y el respaldo de numerosas organizaciones que han dejado en claro que no reconocen a ninguna otra instancia; mucho menos una impuesta por el gobierno burgués de turno”, agregó.
