The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:
Central Committee Members take Pledge to Build United Pan-India Struggles
The three-day meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) commenced today at the EMS Academy in Thiruvananthapuram, with Com. B. V. Raghavulu presiding. General Secretary Com. M. A. Baby introduced the report on political developments.
Condemning the BJP-led government's anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people laws and policies, members of the Central Committee took a pledge to build united pan-India struggles and mobilise people in resistance till they are all repealed.

PLEDGE
We, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), stand with the mass of the people, on 16 January 2026, and resolve to work united to resist all the anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people laws and policies of the BJP led NDA government till all these are repealed. We pledge to work for the unity of the people and ensure that pro-people laws and policies are made which ensure basic rights and decent life of the people.
We take the pledge to build consistent united pan-India struggles till victory.
