Stop the imperialist aggression against the people of Venezuela!
International Commission of the NCPN
The NCPN condemns the increasing violent escalation by the United States against Venezuela and expresses its internationalist solidarity with the Venezuelan people, who have the right to determine and follow their own path of development.
Under the pretext of combating narco-terrorism, the US has announced a military operation in the Caribbean called Southern Spear, involving the largest existing American aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford. The US is using its Forward Operating Locations on Curaçao and Aruba to facilitate its imperialist aggression. As a result, the populations of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao are at risk of being dragged into a conflict that goes against their own interests, with the necessary risks for fishermen in particular, who depend on Caribbean waters for their livelihoods.
The NCPN strongly condemns these developments and calls on the people to make their voices heard against this imperialist aggression.
Abolish the American bases in Aruba and Curaçao!
Hands off Venezuela!
Solidarity with the people of Venezuela!
