Statement by the Palestinian Communist Party
Condemnation of the Assassination Attempt on the Leadership of Hamas

The Palestinian Communist Party strongly condemns the treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted the leadership of Hamas at their residence in the Qatari capital, Doha. This act constitutes a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and of the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter, and a grave assault on the security and stability of the entire region.

This aggression coincided with a failed assassination attempt targeting a number of Palestinian negotiators—a crime that clearly exposes the nature of the Zionist entity and its policy of obstructing any political effort aimed at halting the ongoing war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip. This criminal conduct is not new; it is a continuation of a long-standing policy pursued by the entity, which has consistently sought to weaken the Palestinian national movement through the assassination of national, trade union, and political leaders in order to subjugate it to its aggressive agenda.

This flagrant assault adds to the dark record of the Zionist entity, already filled with assassinations, attacks, and violations of international law. It is yet another proof that this entity knows nothing but the language of organized terrorism, expansion, and aggression.

The Palestinian Communist Party affirms that the silence and inaction of the international community in holding the Zionist entity accountable have only encouraged it to persist in committing crimes against the peoples of the region, foremost among them the steadfast Palestinian people. Therefore, the Party calls upon the United Nations and all international institutions to assume their legal and moral responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people, their leaders, and their negotiators, and to work seriously toward holding this entity accountable before international courts for its ongoing crimes.

The Party also calls upon all national, progressive, and leftist forces, as well as all the free peoples of the world, to intensify their solidarity with the Palestinian people, confront Zionist aggression in all its forms, and thwart its schemes aimed at liquidating our national cause and undermining our historical rights.

بيان صادر عن الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني ادانة لمحاولة اغتيال قيادة حركة حماس

يدين الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني بأشد العبارات العدوان الصهيوني الغادر الذي استهدف قيادة حركة حماس في مقر إقامتهم بالعاصمة القطرية الدوحة، في انتهاك صارخ لسيادة دولة قطر ولمبادئ وأهداف ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، واعتداء خطير على أمن واستقرار المنطقة بأسرها.

لقد تزامن هذا الاعتداء مع محاولة اغتيال فاشلة استهدفت عدداً من المفاوضين الفلسطينيين، في جريمة تكشف بوضوح طبيعة الكيان الصهيوني ونهجه القائم على تعطيل أي جهد سياسي يهدف إلى وقف حرب الإبادة المتواصلة على شعبنا في قطاع غزة. إن هذا السلوك الإجرامي ليس جديداً، بل هو امتداد لسياسة قديمة درج عليها الكيان، تمثلت في اغتيال القيادات الوطنية والنقابية والسياسية بهدف إضعاف الحركة الوطنية الفلسطينية وإخضاعها لسياساته العدوانية.

إن هذا العدوان الفاضح يضاف إلى السجل الأسود للكيان الصهيوني المليء بجرائم الاغتيال والاعتداءات وانتهاك القانون الدولي، وهو برهان جديد على أن هذا الكيان لا يعرف سوى لغة الإرهاب المنظم والتوسع والعدوان.

ويؤكد الحزب الشيوعي الفلسطيني أن صمت المجتمع الدولي وتقاعسه عن محاسبة الكيان الصهيوني شجّعاه على التمادي في جرائمه بحق شعوب المنطقة، وفي مقدمتها الشعب الفلسطيني الصامد. وعليه، فإن الحزب يطالب الأمم المتحدة وسائر المؤسسات الدولية بتحمل مسؤولياتها القانونية والأخلاقية في حماية الشعب الفلسطيني وقياداته ومفاوضيه، والعمل الجاد على محاسبة هذا الكيان أمام المحاكم الدولية على جرائمه المتواصلة.

كما يدعو الحزب جميع القوى الوطنية والتقدمية واليسارية وأحرار العالم إلى رفع وتيرة التضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني، ومواجهة العدوان الصهيوني بكافة أشكاله، وإفشال مخططاته التصفوية التي تستهدف قضيتنا الوطنية وحقوقنا التاريخية.المجد للمقاومة…
